  • Quite a hike to the ocean through deep sand. We took chairs and just sat and watched the waves. The beach itself has lots of kelp and drift wood. Anytime you can watch the ocean is peaceful!  more »

  • Very very beautiful place. Well maintained very very clean. Absolutely friendly staff. Quarter mile from Manchester State Park Beach 9 to 10 miles north drivable access to the beach. Ice cream socials very nice Community feeling at the KOA. Got back to camp after 5 p.m. found that the grey tank was full six year old granddaughter first time rving and they made a special trip with a Honey Wagon to help us out.
  • One of my favorite KOA"s. We come here with our family almost every year. We've stayed in the kabins and we've stayed in tents and every time we go there it is amazing. The staff works hard to make it a fun stay, with movie nights, hay rides, ice cream socials and karaoke. This place also has a pool and jacuzzi! The walk to beach is also not far 3/4 of a mile I believe.
  • My Proposition: Dig a long ditch like tunnel about a 500 feet wide from the Mojave Desert to the Pacific Ocean. There is no drought just lazyness. In the next 4 years this plan better have action and government funding in order to prevent famine in California Nevada and Arizona beyond.
  • This is the nicest, most diverse, active and best run KOA I have ever been to. They have tent and RV spots, cabins and a few trailers for lodging. There are almost always activities planned (and well run)and you can't beat the scenery or climate. The staff and owners are wonderful. There is an excellent general store down the street.
  • The staff at the KOA were friendly and extremely helpful. The park was clean and we had a great time.
