  • What an experience! I mean, you will mever truly know, unless you go! It's amazing! We went on a cold, rainy Thursday. Since it was gloomy, we were the only people in our group. We had a private tour! We got there, and walked around the shop for a few minutes. Watched a video. Met two playful cats. Our guide came out, who was super nice. We drove to the furthest part, and made our way back. It was a bit cold and muddy, but we didn't mind. There are several kind of antelope. Those are pretty cool. They open their barn door peep windows, so you can look in. You then go over to the zebras. They're absolutely adorable. They walk right up to the fence, but you're not really supposed to go too close. Of course no touching or feeding them. There was three of them wandering around, unpaved, and pretty much walked right up to us. That was pretty awesome. I don't know if that's a normal occurrence but I'm super stoked we were there for it. Next we went to the Giraffe House. There we met Jimmy. We fed Jimmy. We kissed Jimmy. Jimmy is the only one we got to meet but we saw the other ones peek their heads out. You get to feed Jimmy sweet potato slices. And if you hold it in your mouth he takes it right out of your mouth with his 10-foot tongue. LOL that was the best experience I could ever ask for. I mean can you imagine being face to face with a giraffe. Absolutely breathtaking. I think once a month you can paint with Jimmy, which I totally intend to do soon. Just being there with these wild creatures is pretty awesome. I can't wait to go back.
  • Unique experience learning about endangered zebras, antelopes, and giraffes. It was amazing to be able to get up close and personal with the animals. The best part was feeding the giraffes!
  • Great place to take kids! You will be able to go with the owner to feed the animals. This is a unique opportunity for you to experience the animals up close. If you are in the area call for reservations and take the time to to visit. I have been four years and enjoyed each visit.
  • Another great visit to the Preserve. Beautiful animals, with a very informative guide. The chance to feed (and be kissed by) a giraffe is not to be missed!
  • It was amazing and seriously... When can you get a chance to kiss a giraffe?! 💜💚💜💚
