  • This brewery was our first stop in Plymouth. It was very rainy when we arrived, so we needed indoor activities. The flights here are only $10 for 5. The beer selection is great. Loved the atmosphere, ...  read more »
  • Maybe 10 min. outside of the main tourist drag in Plymouth and I was happy we made the pit stop after a 6+ hr. drive. Beers were all pretty solid, not amazing but definitely solid.
  • We stopped in here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. It is in a corporate park right across the street from Colony Place. The tap room is pretty cool, small and intimate with a laid b...  read more »
  • Living on the south shore I've been there many times always a very friendly staff. It's only a brewery so expect only a couple pints, samples, growler fills and merchandise. But if you are hungry or still thirsty, they can give you some great suggestions in the Plymouth area.
  • They have some really nice offerings and their porter is one of my favorites. It would be nice if they offered tours and allowed you to purchase more than two pints during your visit. Cheapest growler deposit I've seen.
  • Great local microbrewery. The tasting room is very nice and the staff is very friendly.
  • I definitely enjoy a few of the Mayflower offerings. The Squanto i had earlier this year was outstanding and i hope they bring that back in some form soon. We had a great time a few days ago at the brewery sampling beer, buying T-shirts and of course buying "growelers" (bring a cooler). This is a great stop on the way down to the Cape from the Boston area and the growelers are a party pleaser.
  • Visited the brewery over the weekend. For a few years now I have been buying Mayflower beers here and there. Not something I get all the time. But I do purchase there products at least once a month. The reason I only gave them 3 stars is because of a few problems I had while doing the tasting. First off, we did the 5 sampler taste. You get to try 5 different beers of your choice from a small plastic cup. The women who seemed to be the manager in charge who was wearing a black shirt and gave the tours, didn't find it important to rinse my cup out after each new beer. The other girl there was rinsing, but unfortunately for me, I kept getting the women who didn't. As a brewery, trying to show off your beers and allow people to enjoy the taste of them to there fullest, you should be rinsing the cups out. It is very important to do this and should not be over looked. Next problem I had was the improper use of glassware while serving full sized beers. Maybe I'm being too crazy when I say this but as someone who is big into craft beer, you should be serving each beer in there proper glassware. Now they don't have all the necessary glasses for each beer but they could have at least served the beers in there nonic pint glass. Instead all beers were served in there regular pint glass which does nothing for a beer. Last problem I had was with the taste of one particular beer. I have had the "Mayflower Porter" plenty of times and I know exactly what it should taste like. Now either there was some kind of contaminant in that batch or possibly my cup that didn't get rinsed out greatly affected the taste of the porter. Either way there was a problem and that is personally my favorite beer from Mayflower. Some of these problems could be over looked by many. Please take my review with a grain of salt. The only inexcusable thing was the rinse. I hope the people at Mayflower Brewery read this only to make themselves better. I will definitely still buy there beer I just hope that they take a little more pride in finding answers to the problems I have mentioned.
