  • So on a 2 day trip we stopped at both Bella and Villa. Very commercialized to say the least. If you need to sell over priced nick-nacks while at the same time your selling wine you might have a proble...  more »
  • The winery venue is stunning! However, do not eat at the restaurant! One orders inside, gets a pager, waits for buzz and dines on outside tables. When we did not get paged for 20 minutes, we went insi...  more »
  • Our first stop on a day of wine tasting. Too early for lunch so we settled for a round of tasting. The young lady serving us was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We are a group that loves mostly reds ...  more »

  • Great spot to stop and snack on their good food.
  • I like Villa Toscano. They have a wide assortment of varietals available so everyone should find something that they like. The prices are very reasonable for what you get and their wine is great for informal occasions or as a "daily drinker" for lack of a better term. The pricing for the flights gets you A LOT of samples. The place is beautiful and the food is good. I have been to almost every winery in Amador, and their wine is pretty much on par with the majority of the wineries there. Is this place Turley Vineyards? No it is not, but for a decent red or white, you can't go wrong here. I am especially fond of their zins. Now for some of the bad reviews, yes, they do have hours of operation, as people have families to go home to, so it would be understandable that they would be closing AT THEIR POSTED CLOSING TIME... it is simply bad taste and disrespectful to walk into a place 10 minutes before closing and demand them to stay open later for you... and throw money at them to get your way.... right? Also, as most of us know, limos are quite annoying at wineries, so I applaud them in charging per head. Besides, you pay for the tasting anyways, if you are not a wine club member, and the $15 goes a very long way in what you are able to taste. Anyways, limos being deterred from going there is a +10 in my book of checking this place out.
  • Our favorite wine club, which includes free pasta brunch every Sunday for members and up to two guests. Friendly and personable staff. Relax on the patio and enjoy the beautiful views of the vineyards.
  • Outstanding service, excellent wine need a better way on getting food ordered and served. Now a member ♡♡♡
