  • My husband and I are club members at Runquist and we have never been disappointed by their wines. The wines are top notch and the prices are very reasonable. The tasting room is upscale but very relax...  more »

  • These wines are some of the best in the county. Always consistent, always priced well. The staff are the friendliest ever. We are members of a few wine clubs in the area, and Runquist is our favorite.
  • I've heard nothing but great things about Runquist wines and was super excited when it came up on the itinerary for my girlfriends birthday - which a limo was rented and multiple reservations were made. When we arrived at Runquist, we were TURNED AWAY because of the high number of guests they his credit, the limo driver asked if we could sit outside (there were no guests outside) and again were told NO. Deplorably bad service for someone with a disappointed. The wine may be great, but in my book if the clients are treated indifferently, it's not worth it. There are so many other great wines/wineries in the area.
  • Nice drinkable wine... great stories from our server...
  • I was in the food and wine industry for many years; 15 +. Runquist wines were by far my favorite to sell. They are the wine that I buy to give as gifts and to host a nice a dinner with. The cost for the quality is leaps and bounds over any California wine out there. Every time I opened a bottle at a table I knew they were going to enjoy it. And the cost at a place where anyone who came into the restaurant I worked at (Grange Sacramento) could afford. It was the gem on the list (that's what I always ask the server when I go out, "what's the hidden gem.") Well, it's Jeff Runquist, what varietal do you typically like to enjoy, I ask them? Oh, that's very similar to this unique varietal that they produce. And so on and so on..... This is a must try, you will not only be happy, but grateful. Trust me! The petite sirah is my favorite, most recommended and guaranteed to blow your socks off. When you see this on a menu for around 50 bucks at a restaurant, it holds up to any wine at $100 or more, I guarantee it. Keep doing what you're doing, I'm sure you are reeping the rewards. :)
  • I love their wines. I found out about them from my brother in law. While we've never been to their tasting room, we are both members due to one person that visited them and encouraged us to join their club. The wine is fantastic. I love getting my shipments in the mail. This winery will be on my list when I visit the area soon! Kudos to Runquist from Atlanta, GA!
