  • Been skiing here for years. Both of my children learned to ski at mt Southington. Just a great little mountain with lots to give!  more »
  • Our kids have now done a couple lessons here and it has been great. Instructors are kind and patient. Facilities are fine for what it is, a small local mountain. Don't complain that it's small or that...  more »
  • Mixed feelings. Not their fault, but we just don't get enough snow around here. They try hard, and I'm sure, spend a small fortune on grooming and machines, but if you want GOOD conditions, you need t...  more »

  • Small convenient mountain in CT. Not as large as a 2hr drive up to VT would get you, but it's good for a night session after work within a half hour drive for me. There are day and night session passes, and they have adequate lighting, snowmakers, and even a few jumps and rails. It's a great place to learn, but if you want big mountains and long runs, gotta take that drive up north.
  • Didn't know how to ski so took the teaching session and I also lent the equipments. Was little expensive but worth trying. Good experts and took 1 hour. After that you are on your own. If you got company it will be fun.
  • Nice family place, never too crowded. Safe to let the kids go an ski on their own. The staff is super courteous. Bar can open late or not at all, so if you want to imbibe you may have to BYOB...
  • I really like this place. I have gone here 2 times during the week (a Friday and a Thursday) and it's not crowded. Get there by 10 and you have a good 2 hours of your own private mountain. Place tends to get busy once schools let out.
  • Volunteer Ski Ranger for 8 years now. Gr8 place to teach youngsters to ski or ride. And save loads of travel up north time if you live in CT. Many days the snow quality matches or exceeds what is in VT or NH.
