  • This place has amazing trails, paved and non-paved, but the prettiest parts in my opinion are the non-paved trails. However there is a TON of poison ivy on those trails so wear pants or be very careful. And don't come here on the weekend during sunset (especially Sunday) because there are a ton of people taking pictures that pose directly in the middle of the sidewalk and give you the stink eye if you do not get off the sidewalk and go around them posing, which I refuse to do, so be warned.
  • Many nice things about this park, observation deck, clean paved pathways. Alot of wildlife...can be scary at dusk when you see a mountain lion on the unpaved trail. Definitely speeds up your pace. However it's over run with people who come to play Pok√©mon or take selfies, therefore they stand in the middle of the sidewalk looking at their phones and not paying attention. The preserve has more walking paths than hiking and a lot of the park is paved. Which would be nice for when I want to bike ride but the people on their phones make it unsafe and unable to get up to speed. Low mileage also about 2.5 long. I would recommend this place as a glorified neighborhood park. Not hiking trails more of leisure stroll.
  • Beautiful trail must go if you haven't. Alot of scenery. As well as a good place for Pokemon go with 3 pokestops close to each other and alot of pokemon
  • Awesome hiking options here! All time favorite walking location in Dallas! Surprising amount of wildlife here. I've seen rabbits every time I've been here. Even a HUGE owl flew over head one time! Bring hydration. No water fountains except at the entrance.
  • Like it, love it. Can get away without driving to a state park. Weird to seem people outdoors in Texas, biking and walking. Is a rare site, park has some mountain bike trails, paved trails for walking and off road ones for hiking. Parking lot can handle allot of people.
