  • This is an urban park. You will come across snakes, bobcats, hogs, deer, coyote and mountain lion at one time or another. Remember, they were here first and they have the right to be here too. The out...  more »
  • It's a glorious trail to walk to see beautiful nature and muddy non cement trails are more interesting too when you go over a branch bridge over a creek or river
  • Nice area in Plano, needed to get into the nature a bit during my business trip to Plano. This area gave a nice break to the daily work and the concrete streets in the area otherwise.

  • My favorite trail in the Dallas area. This is what makes it great. First, no matter how much you want to walk or run, there are different trails to cater to you need. So, from a quick 20 min walk to a good hour walk is possible. Second, the trail go over water bodies, forest areas, and grass only areas. Third, there is a huge play ground for kids Finally, the trail offer off road trails for the curious adventures people. You can't get board of this trail.
  • Really great park. Wide concrete trails allow for passing and there are a bunch of good loops. There's plenty of off-road dirt trails for running and walking too. The DORBA bike trail out there is awesome too! Plenty of parking and excellent facilities make this a great place to get outside!!
  • Nice park with lots of trails. One you get off the concrete trails and on the dirt paths, it's like a quick step into the wild. Not really, but it's still cool. You will see the occasional snake, rabbit, and ever a bobcat now and then. There is a small pond that probably has fish in it. It's a fun place to run, and challenging with the hills. The only downside is that it is very popular and can get really crowded on nice weather days. There is a short designated mountain bike train that is really fun. It's not very technical, but it's a great little workout. Keep in mind that you cannot ride any other dirt trails. You can only ride the one designated mountain bike trail. The other trails are for hiking only. That's kind of a bummer. I guess there was an incident.
  • This is a beautiful park, a great place to get away right in the middle of the city. It can get busy, but there are so many trails if you're willing to go off the paved path you can usually get a lot of peace and quiet.
  • This place is amazing for family pictures. . Someone recommended it to me and it didn't disappoint me. It has beautiful hidden little places to capture those special moments with the love ones and it's free! It also has a great playground, it's under some trees, and we all know how hot it gets in Texas during the summer, so the shade is definitely nice for the active little ones. And if you want to have lunch there, they have a place for seating with some tables. There is also a hike trail and let me tell you the view is nice, specially at the sunset.
