  • Nice casino floor, valet parking extremely fast. Also had a good meal there in Koto Grill, so I can definitely recommend the facility
  • Waterfall buffet good food. Really bad service been going to this location since opening price went up from $9.99 each to $12.99 .and sad to say service is so very bad all servers have a sad or angry look on their face like they don't want to be their, good luck on getting refill on your drinks. I don't recommend this place. Bad service or lack of it .
  • Good place to best but, you will lost your money and will not win a thing. You Will have to go there 20 time to take home 500 dollars. And that bullshit.
  • Everything is great about the casino. Only problem I have are the people loitering there late at night with no intent to gamble, but to pan handle and pick out the few cents that people left in slots. It's been a month since I posted the above statement and I'm seeing more and more of this. I think RH security should actively enforce loitering laws. I know they see these people on camera easter egging thier way along the rows of slot machines hoping someone left a few cents in a machine. I really don't want to judge these people but i always get a tap on my shoulder to see if I can spare a smoke or spare a buck or two for gas money.
  • This place is going downhill. They have so many incompetent people working there. They have moved the gift shop 4 times now, took away the sports bar, added a snack bar, took away the snack bar, added a coffee shop, took away the coffee shop, added a fast Chinese lunch diner, took it away, opened another coffee shop, closed a 24 hour cafe, converted the only decent restaurant they had (Koto) into an all night now you have to go downstairs to non-smoking just to get food at night. I bet you anything they reopen a cafe upstairs and convert Koto back to regular time, or close it altogether. The lighting here is too bright and the music is just awful. It feels like you are gambling inside a Ross or Marshalls. It doesn't have that true gaming experience that you can find at other places. There isn't a cozy bar or place you could take a date for a relaxing drink. Thunder Valley has this all figured out with Mingle, Illusions, and the steak house patio. Probably the worst part about this place is the rewards. They will actually send you a monthly offer of 1,000 points. Yep, that's two dollars in slot play for the whole month. Are you kidding me? Why even waste the stamp to send that? Why would I come here when thunder sends me $120 a week and free rooms? This place is unsafe in my opinion too. Come here anytime during a week night and you'll see the area's worst all under one roof. Nortenos, Asian gangs, methed out white tweakers, and you'll probably see a bunch of zombies asleep in a corner or on a slot. I have frequently seen mothers with their babies or small children roam the casino floor after midnight too. Security won't do a damn thing. Almost every time I've come here the sheriff's dept is called for something. Be careful if you win a jackpot here. Watch out for people who might be watching you before you leave in that elevator (I hate the idea of having to take an elevator to get to my car). I've sat at many tables and watched people cheat right in front of the dealers (change or remove their bet). You think the other players feel comfortable while that happens? A little tidbit about security there. They have installed license plate cameras at the entrance so if you don't like your license plate permanently stored in their system then I'd suggest you cover your plate or better yet, not go. Like I said above, cheating is pretty common and surveillance isn't doing a thing about it, so I'm not sure why they monitor license plates and what they do with that info. The dealers and floor supervisors are down right rude and talk crap about the guests like we can't hear them. I don't even want to write some of the things I have heard them say about guests, especially the bus riding people. Oh, and that stupid blackjack Mustang giveaway, they've had that car for like 2 years now. That just shows how tight the place is. Nobody will ever win that thing unless it's a paid casino actor. Thunder gives away 2 cars a week practically, RH gives away $500 in slot play. The slots here are very limited. They don't even have any Wheel Of Fortune slots which is a standard at casinos. Most of the slots here are low limit penny video slots which keep the majority of lower class players broke. The only chance at winning a decent amount of money is in the high limit room with a considerable wager. Lastly, the casino thrives off the press they get from the KCRA A list. RH only wins because they know that their Facebook followers will do anything for $5 in free play. We all know which casino is really the best. I've won and lost here, but I've just realized there are far too many other places that will provide a much more positive experience no matter what level of player you are. Over the years I have seen a lot of competition in casinos and prefer to take my money where I get the best overall experience. And to me, it's not just about gambling but the ambiance, the staff, the food, the entertainment, how safe I feel, and the perks they offer. Hope this helps.
  • Koto Grille is awful now that they have changed it from serving mexican food. Horrible service and horrible meal. My mom and I dined there recently and will never go back. The ribs were like leather, my fries were cold and the coleslaw tasted weird. Very slow service, seemed very disorganized. We got our salad after our entre was served and half eaten. Huge disappointment!
