  • We enjoyed High Hill Farm as we were driving through the area. The vendors were very interesting and food tastings were fun
  • Stop at the Pie House for award winning apple pies. Hit the craft tents then get an apple milk shake. Very good.
  • September through December really shine at High Hill Ranch. From the time you pack under the apple trees until you return to your car with all your goodies, it's a great family place to be. The restau...  read more »
  • High Hill Ranch is a great place for the family to visit and get away from Sacramento's fleet markets. Most of the Vendor are local and love to sale what they build by hand. Handcraft items are priceless for many customers like me. In case your hungry their burgers are not the good but you can stop at Red Apple Cafe.
  • Fun place for kids. Great apples and food. It's a good time.
  • Good place to go to if you are going to Apple Hill if you want to buy a lot of stuff. However it was just way too crowded and instead of feeling like you were in the mountains relaxing it was more like being at the Cal Expo fairgrounds fighting move through a sea of people.
  • This is the first stop and only stop for most people. There are a ton of vendors and a bunch of places to eat. Bring cash! It will save you from standing in the longer lines sometimes. The food is expensive and OK. The pies are to die for. I mean, that's the real reason you go there right. A lot of activities for the little ones. Since mine are in high school I didn't really get to check those out. Really really crowded so prepare for the crowd. Parking in the trees was an experience but it works.
  • Always a great place to go, its best to go during a non holiday weekend though. When there is a lot of people it gets very unorganized and frustrating even just waiting in line for a treat, and trust me you will be in line a lot. Be sure to take lots of water and if you're bringing kids, a waggon is a good investment. Apple doughnuts and tri tip sandwiches make you want to go back again.
