  • 5 minutes from downtown Placerville and super interesting for kids and adults. Did the mine tour which only took 10 minutes or so but very evocative in the damp cool dark cave. Then panned for semi-pr...  more »
  • We came here to go do a tour of the mine for my 4th grader who was doing a project on California's Gold Rush. I did this more to get her excited about the project and learning information about it. Sh...  more »
  • Had a great time. Grandson was so excited about going thru the mind ! Went hiking along the trails ...nice and easy. People are very friendly. Stamp mill is very interesting and Black Bart was a hoot ...  more »
