  • Great brew and awesome atmosphere for someone from the East Coast! It was difficult to find and needed better seating however the beers made up for it. Loved it!  more »
  • I enjoyed every beer in my flight. I like the fact that you choose which beers you want on a slip of paper which includes a brief description of the beers. I can be indecisive so being able to take my...  more »

  • Visiting while in a trek south from LA to San Diego to explore multiple breweries, The Bruery hit my taste buds first--and with vigor! Their beers are phenomenal--particularly the higher-octane and unusual varietals. For example, who else makes an Or Xata Ale? I don't know, but I quickly bought a bottle back in my home state for others to try. This is a must-visit in the LA region, even if it is a bit of a hike through traffic. Worth it, and will 100% be back.
  • I used to really love The Bruery, but the past few years have been really trying. Their membership programs have really suffered as their beer production has suffered. That's what happens when you have serious and systemic infection problems I guess. But so little has been done to make it up to members, and so little has been done for local members that this is the last year I will be a member. You guys really need to focus on your loyal customers and stop it with the self-congratulatory marketing hype machine. Having interacted with Patrick several times, it just seems counter to the actual head brewer himself. Also, it would be great if you could have reasonable bottle formats for the big bears. No one needs 6 750's of a 20% abv beer.
  • Great beer that can get a bit pricey, but well worth it.
  • I have spent many hours here in the tasting room. I have to say the Bruery is the Brewery I talk to new beer lovers the most about. There is a huge set of beers to choose from, a secret club (with secret menu), and it's BYOF (Bring Your Own Food) if you don't want the jerkey and other small snacks they have. Highly recommended!
  • We are huge sour beer aficionados, and the Bruery makes the best sour beers in America, in my opinion. Tasting room is pretty incredible - they had 53 Bruery beers on tap during our visit, with a huge variety of distinct and excellent sours, some good dark beers and a bunch of barleywines (not really my thing). Laidback vibe, friendly staff, board games to choose from - we made friends with the people next to us over a game of Cards Against Humanity.
