Where to stay in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's downtown area is so packed with hotels it is often possible to get top rooms here at bargain prices. Bear in mind that most visitors to Pittsburgh want to stay in this central part of town, so you do need to look for discounts early and book well in advance. If you're visiting universities or other attractions outside of Pittsburgh itself, you can find comfortable airport accommodations just west of the city. Consider also the college neighborhood of Oakland, offering some of the least expensive rooms in Pittsburgh.

  • I recently was fortunate enough to tour the barrelhouse with a friend, and the experience was nothing short of amazing. The owner and staff are so passionate about what they do and it really shows through their enthusiasm and in their work. The amount of knowledge behind what they do is most impressive, they certainly know their history, and it was an incredible learning experience. The whiskey is fantastic, they put so much thought and effort into their product and it really shows. During our tour I tried things I would have never tried on my own, and everything was wonderful in its own way. Definitely a worthwhile experience, and an amazing whiskey!
  • The friendliest workers and the owner has a great heart! I brought the kids in and they were able to color and have fun while we shopped. I love the variety in spirits, the colorful and artful labeling, and organic ingredients! Don't miss out! Check it out!
  • I would have gave no stars, are these people seriously not getting the subliminal behind the name/logo.. This a complete slap in the face to all black people in america. This company has to know what they are doing, very appauling to me and i am disgusted. Its a freakn NOOSE, but People are having a toast to the most horrific holocaust my people have went through starting 500 yrs ago til this day.
  • Super friendly, had a nice area to sit and enjoy a drink. Excellent whiskey and cocktails.
  • Went on a tour with my wife and we had a great time. Great spirits and a fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back
