The props were awesome. We didn't find it to be very scary and thought that the haunted houses we've been to in Ohio were better.
Alway a very good scare. It's so crowded that you tend to run into the group before you missing some of the surprises but overall a lot of fun. I would advise upgrading tickets to the VIP or RIP ticke... read more »
We've been coming here for years and these guys really do set the bar for the season. The work with Legendary Pictures paid off, big time as the last couple of years were better than ever. While waiti... read more »
There is A LOT of hype about this attraction around Halloween. I went once and will NEVER return. The price was too high for a mediocre scare! Some of the sets were cool, but the actors were hokey...one actor got into an arguement with my sister, which my sister almost laid her out! When we complained to management they laughed it off and said that's part of what you pay for...hmmm. Okay so we paid for a teenager dressed up as an offensive disabled ghoul to poke fun at my sister who actually IS disabled and walks with a cane! What a joke! Customer service no matter what line of business you are in is top priority! The scariest thing about Scarehouse are the employees and their ignorance to their patrons. BOO! That was free!
I've gone three times. 2013, 2014, and 2015. When I went in 2013 I was really impressed. The wait was long, but that's to be expected. Going in the sets were well made and it took me well over an hour to get through. Well worth the money I'd say. 5 stars. 2014 and 2015 were a different story. The waits were really long (2+ hours), but I expected that already. What disappointed me was that they seemed to have kept most of the same stuff from 2013 and shrank the overall length of the course. Definitely not worth the money at the present. I'll go one more year. If it gets better this year I'm hooked, if not I probably won't come back.
Great haunted house! Wish it was a little longer, but the scares are great, and it's a good fall activity to cine here with a group.
A group of friends and i drove 2 hours to come to the scarehouse tonight and i just want to state how disapointed i was. The detail and the sets were really good but my friends and i did not get scared once because the actors forcefully put us with a group of about 6 other people. We basically paid $28 each to look at neat scenes for 15 mins. Really wish there was a refund policy. I was expecting this haunt to be alot better and actually scary because i thought i was paying $28 to get scared. Will not return.
It's decent, but it's starting to feel the same each year. There's a lot of hype surrounding it come Halloween time. I'd recommend going during a less busy time, since you feel rushed and herded through. Prices are a bit high too.
