  • An old-style in-depth museum where three long corridor walls are lined with large, deep display cases fronted by divided glass panels and dozens of other display cases fill the galleries and halls. Take your time and examine the exceptional quality artifacts and historical references. From start to finish expect to spend at least an hour here. Anyone interested in American battles and wars should make this a must-see on their list of places to visit in Pittsburgh. Don't forget to stop into the Memorial Hall (auditorium) if only just to see it's grand size.
  • I've attended several events here and each one has been great. Pitt Stop Lindy Hop has its large swing dance event here every year at the top floor in the ballroom. Its superb! I have also delivered a wedding cake here and its just seems to be a great venue for many events!
  • Pretty nice museum (especially if you're an American history buff), with some cool events taking place here. It's cool that the movie "Silence of the Lambs" was filmed here, and that at least once a year they have a special viewing of the movie.
  • Beautiful place! They have several ballrooms, a huge auditorium, a museum for soldiers, and a multi-level underground parking lot.
  • Good place for hosting a reception / farewell. The ground is large enough !
