My husband took off to go to the new Saturday Brunch Buffet as one of his Father's Day gifts. There was no bacon. When I asked the waitress if she knew where the bacon was, she came back and said that she was told that NO bacon would be served as the Saturday Brunch Buffet ONLY the Sunday Brunch Buffet. As I was leaving, I asked another waitress if I could tell a manager that bacon goes "hand in hand" with breakfast, regardless of the other options offered, she directed me to the person who made the decision as to not serve bacon for the Saturday Brunch. He said that it is too costly? Really? I believe that a LOT of money goes through the Rivers Casino, at least enough to serve bacon as an additional option to the breakfast buffet. That's like going to Burger King and finding out that they don't have hamburger patties. Is it a hamburger, if there's no meat in between the buns?

Great casino. Big enough to have a full day of fun. Casino is clean and well kept. The buffet is large with a good variety of food at a decent price. Restrooms are large and well kept. The casino offers plenty of non-smoking gaming sections also. All around fun place to visit.

Had a great dinner here last night. Drinks and food were amazing. I had the lamb chop special as an appetizer and it was the best part of the whole meal. Great flavors and cooked perfectly!

The buffet restaurant has a good variety of food ranging from country western, Japanese Sushi, Chinese stir fry, American roast and grill and of course plenty of fresh salads ! The desserts corner is typical and well stocked. On my recent visit on June 18th however, the mussels dish seemed to be not fresh. I have eaten a lot of seafood before and I would know if it's showing a slight odor. A closer monitor by the management would be great. So, that day my meal was slightly affected by the mussels dish. Other than that all was fine.

This message is for the gamblers: July 3 at eight o'clock, i play Texas Hold'em in the poker room. The casino makes a dealer who is not yet fully familiar with the rules and works in the poker room. Then the dealer made a series of mistakes that led to a whole process of confusion, and finally the manager made a very unfair decision. I did not blame the dealer, I think the casino did not pay any responsibility for this accident. The casino should not let a person who is not yet qualified to work in a casino. So, hope that everyone can be aware of this problem, if other gamblers have also been to the casino. I believe that if the casino did not solve the problem clearly, the same result will happen on other gamblers. I also hope that the casino can stand up and responsibly solve the accident.

Where to stay in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's downtown area is so packed with hotels it is often possible to get top rooms here at bargain prices. Bear in mind that most visitors to Pittsburgh want to stay in this central part of town, so you do need to look for discounts early and book well in advance. If you're visiting universities or other attractions outside of Pittsburgh itself, you can find comfortable airport accommodations just west of the city. Consider also the college neighborhood of Oakland, offering some of the least expensive rooms in Pittsburgh.
