  • Such a beautiful place and fun facts/history. A good place to walk and sit outside to enjoy the beauty of Pittsburgh. Lots of locals riding bikes, running, boating, etc. Fun place to be immersed in th...  more »

  • This is a great place to visit if you are in Pittsburgh. There is a ton of history surrounding the point all the way back to the colonial days. There is a nice museum there as well as the oldest structure in Pittsburgh, which was part of the fort structure. It is also very picturesque and a great place to see downtown from. There is plenty of parking if you don't mind walking a few blocks.
  • A "must" to visit while in Pittsburgh. At the point is the Point Fountain and the terminus of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) rail trail used for bicycling/walking/in-line skating. You can sometimes catch a wedding in progress here, as we did recently. There are many events in the park -- the marathon, many other races, and concerts. The Blockhouse (free) and Fort Pitt Museum is here for a bit of history.
  • Beautiful park. We went for the arts festival and it was awesome. Lots of great food and a huge variety to choose from. Lots of entertainment.
  • I visit this park at least once a week. Its very beautiful and big. The view is really nice during sunset. The restrooms are clean. The park is well maintained. But there is no parking near the park. There is off street parking which is always full. We park two blocks away and walk to the park.
  • Lovely view of the city. Great waterfront access. Even if you visit at an ungodly hour like 02:00 the view of the city lights and bridges is just perfect. For people looking to relax: 10/10 would recommend.
