PNC Park, Pittsburgh

4.8
Featuring panoramic views of the city's rivers, bridges, and modern facilities, PNC Park is home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Located on the northern side of the city, the baseball stadium features a natural grass field and can seat nearly 40,000 baseball fans. Tours of the stadium are offered seasonally. Get to the game by parking downtown and walking the short distance to the ballpark over a pedestrian-friendly bridge. Or, to avoid the stress of traffic and the high cost of parking, use the convenient water limo service, which begins operating about two hours before the start of each game. Check the online game and special event schedule, and book your tickets well in advance. • To see! Seen on the exceptional city, very interesting tower where it is possible to see the locker room and the players practice cage. Not to be missed on a visit to Pittsburgh.

  • PNC Park is arguably the finest baseball Park in the country. Access is very easy with parking on the North Side and also in the city. The Park is a short walk from downtown and there are many ways to...  more »

  • Wonderful ball park with a spectacular view on downtown Pittsburgh Skyline. I have been there with mates and coworkers at the office for a Family Day meeting and it was great. The pre-game atmosphere is fascinating and you can feel the love and the pride of fans for their team. Plus, there are a lot of nice food and snack places so your time goes fast.
  • Home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. By far one of the Top 2 MLB Facilities. Gorgeous view. Riverfront Park is just behind the Outfield wall. Located on the North Shore of the Allegheny River. Lots of Restaurants and Bars. A pretty happening place to go.
  • I usually get free tickets to come to baseball games. I usually sit in the upper-most section, but it's okay though. The stadium's restrooms are usually clean, and the restaurants are plentiful. The food is not cheap... a small bowl of ice cream was more than $6! Sometimes they have deals... for instance they have $1 hotdog days.
  • PNC Park is the prettiest stadium. It sits along Pittsburgh's three rivers and I believe most seats in the house have views of the beautiful city skyline. Parking is easy to find, so that's not a stressor if you aren't used to gong into the city (but the parking definitely costs money). I'd say this is a bucket list stadium.
  • We love PNC Park! One of the best ball parks in the USA. Great atmosphere and views of the city. Beautiful field.

Where to stay in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh's downtown area is so packed with hotels it is often possible to get top rooms here at bargain prices. Bear in mind that most visitors to Pittsburgh want to stay in this central part of town, so you do need to look for discounts early and book well in advance. If you're visiting universities or other attractions outside of Pittsburgh itself, you can find comfortable airport accommodations just west of the city. Consider also the college neighborhood of Oakland, offering some of the least expensive rooms in Pittsburgh.
