Featuring panoramic views of the city's rivers, bridges, and modern facilities, PNC Park is home to the Pittsburgh Pirates. Located on the northern side of the city, the baseball stadium features a natural grass field and can seat nearly 40,000 baseball fans. Tours of the stadium are offered seasonally. Get to the game by parking downtown and walking the short distance to the ballpark over a pedestrian-friendly bridge. Or, to avoid the stress of traffic and the high cost of parking, use the convenient water limo service, which begins operating about two hours before the start of each game. Check the online game and special event schedule, and book your tickets well in advance. Plan to see PNC Park and other attractions that appeal to you using our Pittsburgh itinerary planner.

  • I have been to PNC Park several times when I visit Pittsburgh. I find it to be a truly fine stadium and enjoy watching Pirate games there. I try to get there as often as I visit Pitssburgh. It is typi...  read more »

  • Awesome ballpark with breathtaking views of downtown Pittsburgh. # 1 MLB ballpark opened in 2001 but still seems brand new 15 years later. Provides a great home field atmosphere when sold out that the players love. Hopefully, Pirates management will make the necessary adjustments to boost the team's lineup and bring the World Series to this park sooner rather than later. The future looks exciting for the Pirates with a TON of young pitching talent along with Josh Bell and others. They should win a couple of championships within the next 5 to 8 years barring serious injuries.
  • The Best Ballpark on Earth PNC Park delivers everything you can ask for at a baseball park. It's new, exciting, and always packed! The food is great, if a little expensive. The park is always clean. The announcers and entertainment is always great. I always tell people, you don't have to be a Pirates fan or even a baseball fan to enjoy your day at PNC Park.
  • This is one of the best ballparks in the country. The view of downtown is tremendous and there really isn't a bad seat in the place. It is fairly small for a MLB park which works for this smaller market team. If you can catch a game here you should. There is a great selection of food and drinks. There is a play place for kids behind the left field bleachers. There are also lots of restaurants around the stadium.
  • A truly fantastic ballpark. There are very few bad seats in this house. The facilities are modern and extensive, plenty of places to snag a drink (or unload one). Easy access and movement around the park, no real need to worry about where you're getting into or out of the facility. The city around the park is pleasant, clean, and well suited for tourists. Walking around during the day of a game has a wonderful and festive atmosphere, and the nearby park is lit up beautifully at night. Bring a jacket in the spring and fall, as there is often a pretty stiff breeze when the temperatures dip!
  • Great ballpark. We went to an afternoon game and had a great time. Nice layout with concessions and stairs and seats. The other fans were pretty good and nobody was rude or out of control like I've seen in other ballparks.
