  • Great, large park in Pittsburgh. Wonderful playgrounds, trails, and sledding hills. Highly recommend!
  • Before the cold temperatures and snow fell, my wife and I went to Frick park for the first time. We loved it. Parking was free and easy. There was a Porta John at the parking lot. The walk took you th...  more »

  • A great park with excellent mountain biking & hiking. Feels like you're far from the city! Loads of mountain bike trails, but it's challenging to know where they are without a guide. Tag-along with someone you meet. Trails are moderate to challenging. I look forward to Pittsburgh cleaning up the sewage overflow so the stream is prettier and cleaner. All in due time, I suppose.
  • This park is great! There are cute dogs! Cute dogs everywhere! Cute dogs running wild! I LOVE CUTE DOGS! THEY ARE EVERYWHERE!!!
  • Blue Side Playground at Frick Park is a fun place to take the kids to play. The paved walking trail is an easy path for strollers and bikes. The park is pet friendly, but I believe that dogs are supposed to be on leash on the trails and can go off leash in the fenced dog park area, which is a bit of a walk from the playground. If you have young kids that are apprehensive of dogs, it might not be the best trail for them, though the playground is conveniently located with street parking and quickly and easily accessible. The playground features play structures for the very young and for older children well.
  • This is a beautiful park. It is a wonderful place to walk and it is huge! Several play areas for kids and great trails for hiking. It is like a slice of Central Park in Pittsburgh.
  • Beautiful park, nice playground and hiking trails. Community activities pretty often.
