  • Very nice tour of the Clayton. The Car Museum was fantastic. The Art Museum was alright but I'm not into the art that was displayed while we were there. Really did not see the "Killer Heals" exhibit because there were a bunch of people there looking at it and it was a very small exhibit that did not allow the crowds to disburse. Overall, pleasant experience. I would highly recommend.
  • You have to check this place out. If you're a history buff you'll love it. If you're a car fan you'll love it. Tours are $12 and you get to go through most of the house. Seeing the car and carriage museum is free and the kids will love it.
  • This Museum deserves zero stars. I will say that I was told at the entrance that they were "in transition on 2 exhibitions" (so I could not see them). So all I can say is that the PERMANENT collection of art at this museum is the smallest and most lack luster of ANY museum I have ever been to (and I go to A LOT of museums all over the world). To me, the permanent collection at this museum / art collection verges on a bad joke. And please know that I am not an art aficionado... I am just an ordinary guy that appreciates a decent art museum. Thank goodness that I went during their "pay what you wish" time period which is every Sunday from 11AM-1PM. That being said... to me (even if admission was free) this museum's permanent collection is seriously not worth a 10 minute drive to see it. If I had paid the normal admission of $20. I would be extremely pissed! This museum is an incredibly bad value at ANY price (even for free)... as a result, it is astonishing to me that this place has so many good reviews.
  • This place is amazing and the free art museum has gorgeous works. Absolutely sinning
  • History. You can access the museum, greenhouse, antique car display, and all the grounds for free. Only pay to tour the house. Lovely look back in time.
