The Carolina Tiger Rescue appears to be a very well run sanctuary for wild cats of all types. We were lured in by the tigers, but enjoyed the chance to also meet lions, leopards, cougars, ocelots, car... more »

So much more enriching than a zoo trip. You are instantly a part of something real. There is no better way to experience big cats. Just take the tour and know that you are supporting a great cause. Not a construct but, a rescue service. Volunteer if you can. Help raise money or awareness for these big cats and, you are a better person. When has a trip to the zoo made you feel like a better person? Amazing.

Carolina Tiger Rescue is amazing! They work hard to create fantastic enclosures, good nutrition, and fun enrichment for their animals, almost all of which were rescued from neglectful situations. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the property

Very fun & educational place to visit! I highly recommend the twilight tour because the cats are definitely more active at night. You will learn a lot more about the animals (& get a lot closer to them) than you ever will at a zoo. The location is easy to find too.
