  • Great guides! I'm too fat to climb so I drank their beer!
  • Had an awesome time with Eric as my guide! I've climbed a decent amount inside, and was looking to learn more about outdoor climbing. I learned a ton, and came away knowing what my next steps would be! Can't thank / recommend them enough.
  • Brian did an excellent job with our family of 4! He picked routes suitable for our skill level, interacted well with our kids, and is an all around nice guy to hang out with for a few hours. He also gave a great recommendation for hike for us after our climb. Afterwards, I'd recommend checking out the shop/restaurant - grab a gourmet hot dog and a local beer while relaxing on the front porch swing.
  • What an absolutely FANTASTIC experience...from start to finish!! Eric was our guide and upon meeting us, his first thought could have been that he drew the "short straw" :) Our group consisted of me (middle-aged woman with not a shred of climbing experience) and my sister and teenage niece (both who have only climbed an indoor, plastic mountain). Yet Eric greeted us with enthusiasm and a great deal of patience. He taught us the essential basics and then we began our climbs. He was great at verbally guiding us as we searched for good hold spots. He never stopped encouraging us to push ourselves and not once expressed impatience with our pace. Now I must say my niece proved to be a budding spider woman but us two sisters had the time of our lives and felt exhilarated with our accomplishments. We did three sport climbs each and Eric, noticing my niece's natural skill, guided her on a little more challenging, trad climb. All of the equipment is provided...including shoes, which are essential. I wore lose hiking pants and the other two wore long yoga pants. You want comfortable pants that allow a wide range of movement. We had backpacks to hold our belongings and snacks but didn't need to climb with them. At no time did we feel unsafe but you do need to pay attention to your guide. Upon the recommendation of KRAG we did a half day. Our spirits wanted to keep climbing but the next day our forearms were definitely sore. A huge thanks to KRAG and especially Eric!
  • My girlfriend and I spent a half day climbing with the guide Clifton. He made the experience one to remember. It was our first time climbing outdoors and he took the time teach us and help us conquer multiple routes. We always felt safe and in good hands. He also provided great information on the area, such as good hikes and other places to visit. After the climb, we joined him at Skybridge Station (great bar with unique KY draft beers) and chatted for awhile about all sorts of topics. Definitely left with great memories and a new friend.
