  • Absolutely one of my favorite places to go visit. I have watched this aquarium grow over the years and have always been impressed by the additions. The staff is always friendly, the facilities are clean, and there is lots to see both inside and out. Plus, this is where my wife and I had our wedding. The aquarium transforms into quite a romantic and lovely place to hold a wedding, and the staff - especially Kerri Sommer, the Asst Special Events Coordinator - went out of their way to make our wedding a very special occasion. I am completely impressed by them and I recommend this place to everyone.
  • Always a great place to visit for a relaxing afternoon on a day off or special occasion. I love how the aquarium showcases the different ecosystems from the piedmont areas of NC all the way to the ocean. As you enter, take notice how you move through the mountain regions all the way to the coast accompanied with some of the animals that you would find in those areas. A great place for fun and learning!
  • I enjoyed this aquarium. It was interesting and very kid friendly. I recommend it to parents. The price of admission was reasonable. Just walking through and looking, took an hour. I wanted to read some facts but was not able to.
  • Very nice aquarium! About an hour worth of adventure, indoor and outdoor exhibits. Goes into the ecosystems and science along the way. Well maintained tanks- the fishies all look happy and healthy! The little turtle hurt my heart he was all lonely, though. Touch tanks for horseshoe crabs, hermit crabs and rays/skates.
  • Cute place. I would have probably enjoyed it more had we been able to enjoy the outside section. It was pouring rain that day. I loved the petting area.
