  • I enjoyed this aquarium. It was interesting and very kid friendly. I recommend it to parents. The price of admission was reasonable. Just walking through and looking, took an hour. I wanted to read some facts but was not able to.
  • Great place to take kids, even as an adult it is enjoyable! Many aquariums of all shapes and sizes, underwater creatures of all kinds. They even have a place to pet sting rays safely! The picture below is of a beehive that is enclosed so that you can see these amazing builders!
  • I think I prefer the aquarium at Fort Fisher, but this one is still worth the drive. It's a little on the small side, but there's a decent variety of different animals. The huge tank with the sharks is a must-see, and I enjoyed the bird show. The day I visited was too hot to walk very far on the nature trail, but the part I did see had beautiful views of the surrounding waterways.
  • Fun and high class. We attended a very kid centric lecture on owls. Beautiful bird area in the back. Not huge, but if you are on the island for a few days you should really go. Great for kids, good for adults.
  • Cute place. I would have probably enjoyed it more had we been able to enjoy the outside section. It was pouring rain that day. I loved the petting area.
