  • I drove over 2 hours to visit this place, it was not worth my gas nor my time. Kids were disappointed. Not enough animals, staff was not as friendly as expected.
  • My three year old loved going here. It wasnt as big as a zoo and had just enough to keep her entertained. The tram ride was great because she was able to see the animals up close without being crowded. The small petting zoo was a little scary for her, all the small goats and mini cows crowded around for the feed. Otherwise it was good fun for the family and well worth the drive.
  • We enjoyed our visit here. They truly love the animals and they are well cared for. The petting zoo was such a pleasure. Be sure to ride the train and buy bags of food. It's so worth it to interact with the animals so closely. The pizza in the restaurant was really good and they even have a gluten-free crust. We will be back.
  • Please don't go here. This is by far no wildlife ranch at all, but just animals stuffed into cages. All animals are in metal cages on concrete floors with kids toys in there and many of them look not healthy. The proprietors didn't even try to create a natural habitat for the animals. There's loud cheesy music to which the animals have to listen. The live bears are clearly bored as hell, judging by the path in the grass along their double-fenced cage, next to the pizza place. Please avoid. Don't give your money to people who mistreat animals !
  • Good for the monkeys and bears (when they're out). Not too much in the way of exotics, or animals you wouldn't otherwise see in a petting zoo. The tractor tour was nice and the operator was knowledgeable. The Bear's Den restaurant was great.
  • Loved it, would go back for sure. So many of the animals we saw were rescues. All seemed ok and most seemed happy and content. It's true there are concrete floors and cages and all, but the majority of these animals live on Texas dirt. There is a donation box near the entrance, before you pay. This says a lot about to running of this Ranch.
