  • We went on a Friday afternoon and there was not a lot of people compared to other go-cart places. 3 adults was $101 for 2 tracks going for 4 laps. It was pricy but a lot of fun. If you have the money ...  read more »

  • Was fun until someone caused our son to spin out, and he was left broad side for 2 laps. Track employees were on their phones or out talking to people in cars on the street. Definitely need more instr...  read more »
  • AVOID This tourist-trap! Takes insanely long due to questionable business model. There are better options! I went here with a rather large party of 16 on a Friday night. We were looking over the "packages" they offer for races and figured we'd be there for 2-3 hours max. BIG MISTAKE! We paid $55 w/tax for the "6 race" package instead of $29 for the 2-race. The way it works is like this: You wait in line to get your two races. One is red (slower carts) and one is gree (faster carts). You CANNOT get all 6 races queued up when you buy, only 2 at a time! Once you get your ticket you watch the video, get a head sock, size your head if needed and go outside and wait for your "Group" to be called. Depending on how busy it is you will be waiting 45-90 minutes. You do your red race immediately folllowed by the green race back-to-back. When done, you have to get BACK IN LINE inside, get 2 more tickets printed out and wait another 45-90 minutes for your turn. When you are done? AGAIN....that will take you at least 3 hours (if not busy at all) and more likely 5-6 hours like it did for us! Our first night here we did 2 races after about 2 hours and it started raining towards the end of our 2nd race so they closed the track early that night (around 10PM). We asked for a refund but being the deplorable TOURIST TRAP this place is....no refunds!!! So we planned to come back the following night at around 7PM. What a complete waste of time. First set of races took 45 minutes to start and second set took over 110 minutes before we could start. We were out of there at around 11:30PM for FOUR races. Also, the carts are NOT 30 or 40MPH that is total crap. The red ones might barely be able to achieve 20mph and the green maybe 23-25mph. They also vary wildly in performance. Some will understeer horrifically due to the tires being overinflated in the front and others will handle great but accelerate sluggishly. They aren't bad but not great and don't seem to be well-maintained. One of the green karts I got's brakes dragged and I had to hold the pedal upright with my left-foots toe the entire race to avoid it lugging. Another annoying gripe: the fact the races are back-to-back means you will not have a clue how you did during the red race since you have no time at all to go inside and look at hte monitors for the race results. You immediately get out of the red karts and directly into the green karts to run the course backwards. They print the results but the 2nd night we went the printer was down and we weren't able to see any results except for our 1st green race. So all in all AVOID this place unless you want to spend your entire night here. I would only suggest going here if it 1: isn't busy, 2: you don't mind paying $30 for two races. I would completely avoid getting the 6-race package as it simply takes way too long to do all the races due to their idiotic queuing process which I know for a fact has to do with its tourist-trap location and convenient no-refund policy. I just wonder how many unredeemed 6-race packages they sell every year? Imagine the pitch they could give to the Shark Tank folks for an investment: "Yea we sell 6-race packages to idiots visiting Pigeon Forge! Its hilarious! Of all 6-race packages we sell only an average of 3.6 races are actually redeemed due to the brilliant queuing model we came up with BWAHAHAHA"
  • Had a great time, much more fun than nascar speedtrack, even though the karts moght mot have hit 40 they still went really fast and the overall race itself was very fun, the wait wasnt very long and the employees were nice.
  • It took nearly 3 hours to complete three 6 min races. We got there at 2 PM and did the upper track. That was fine, no waiting and was ran like a typical go kart track. Next we wanted to try the xtreme track since it was suppose to be fast. We watched a safety video and had to wear a helmet so this promised to be good. The problem began as we waited 45 mins in a line with only 2 other people until we finally got into a car. 20 mins later, we finally started racing. The ride was 6 mins and was only marginally faster then the avg go kart. Next we were moved over to the xtreme cars. After waiting again for 40 mins in line because they had to change shifts and refuel the cars, we go in the car and sat for another 20 mins for no obvious reason. My extreme cart was actually slower then the pro cart which was so disappointing after the long wait. There process was so inefficient that it became a joke. I can't imagine that if they continue to operate in this manner they will survive. Save your money and go racing somewhere else, you'll have more fun.
  • Great racing track! Carts were fast and prices weren't too bad. Getting to race the carts was quick and no hassle.
  • The good: nice, long track and fun to go as a group since at least 12 people can drive at a time. The bad: this location is poorly managed. It takes a very long time for them to run the races. Only ten 6-minute races were run and we were there for three hours. The dead time was very long and unnecessary. The karts do not all run the exact same speed but that is expected of gas powered karts. I would not say that he 40 mph karts ran much faster than the 30 mph karts since our times were pretty comparable for many of the racers. Overall: not a bad place if you have a long time and want to go karting. If you're on a time schedule, don't count on xtreme karting to get you through in any reasonable amount of time.
