  • This is the one and only restaurant we *have* to visit whenever we come to The Smokies. My favorite meal of the day is breakfast, and they do not disappoint. Get up early, though. They open at 8:00, a...  read more »

  • Went twice while on vacation, the first time was amazing! 5 out of 5 stars! The waitress was wonderful helping me come up with a Vegan meal due to no vegan options on the menu! The second time the waitress was nice for the most part, and I was getting dirty looks from many others including staff and costumers. I felt unwelcome and could not wait to leave. Definitly worth going to if you have never been there before!
  • Usually a wait, but they call you over speakers in the shops. Love the corn chowder, biscuits and the apple fritters. Lunch is less expensive than dinner and if you come just before the switch you can get in faster. Good fried chicken with the fixings. Great views out the window of Pigeon River. We always come here when we are in town.
  • Excellent service, relaxed atmosphere and an abundance of the most important thing at a restaurant, food! I know the South prides themselves in grits, but they also must be especially proud of their apple fritters (which when dipped in maple butter are heaven!) Reasonable prices and enough food to fill your palate for at least a day after.
  • Great corn fritters. Chicken was a bit dry. Great pulled pork! Catfish very good! BlackBerry cobbler- delish! Price was good. Atmosphere was good. Family had a great time! We got there about 5pm and beat the dinner traffic on a Saturday- waited about 10mins. When we were walking out the lines were long, waiting to get in. I recommend this place if you are in the area!
  • Perfect place, home away from home. Almost as good as grandmamas cookin ;) deaf a recommend place if looking for friendly attentive service and yummy southern cookin !!!!! I request LYIDA for a wonderful server! Great experience!
