  • We ate lunch at the Old Mill and then shopped at the surrounding little shops. Our lunch was great! The price was much less than we expected and we got a great deal of food. The shops are fun. I bough...  more »

  • Seated quickly at lunch time. Waitress extremely friendly and efficient. Great atmosphere for families. Big selection. Soup that comes with meal was good. Prices good. Only complaint and may be a personal preference some items according to 3 adults could use a little more seasoning. Over all very pleased and 90% better experience then Paula Dean's restaurant ( which doesn't allow take outs even if it's an item you paid for separately from normal meal ). Also BIG plus... Military discount given. P.S. I enjoyed this place as a teenager and am now 51
  • The Old Mill is a place we always visit when visiting the Smokies. My daughters love the salt and pepper shakers best. The food is always plentiful and tasty. Being gluten free, my only option is eggs and bacon/sausage. But everyone else has a lot of extras on the table: biscuits and gravy, banana nut muffins, grits (which MAY be gluten free but I didn't try them), and plenty of pancakes on the side of Grandpa's order that he wasn't going to finish. ;). We visited the Old Mill Pottery place as well and saw where you can purchase your own bear S&P shakers and the Potter, Tommy, even threw a vase for us to watch him in action. Absolutely amazing and super friendly.
  • If you want to get in the door without a long wait, it is best to show up at this restaurant prior to opening. My wife and I showed up 15 minutes before they opened and there was already quite a line. That being said, it was well worth the wait. The server was so nice, and the food was AMAZING! We left with full bellies, and then had fun looking inside the store. The price wasn't terrible either, considering this restaurant is in Pigeon Forge. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.
  • My boyfriend and I came for breakfast while we were here on vacation, it was quick to see why they are on the 10 best list, we were seated quickly, the restaurant was very home like with great views out of the big windows over looking the river, our waitress was very nice and attentive. We both got the old mill breakfast, let me tell you next time we will just get one to share, there was so much food we couldn't even come close to finishing! Everything came out super fast and fantastic! The biscuits were baked perfectly fluffy, the sausage gravy was actually thick and had chunks of sausage in it with good flavor unlike other places, the home fries were perfect after we got them plain without onions, I didn't have enough room to try the pancakes but my boyfriend said they were good, the coffee was delicious and a nice little perk of free orange juice and little cinnamon muffins to start, you certainly won't leave hungry. We walked around to the other little places in the same village area and it seemed very family based with alot of unique items. Definitely a great place to hit if you're around here visiting!
  • Nothing here has ever disappointed me here. I took my boyfriend here as his first restaurant on our visit. He loved the country fried steak! He is a picky eater, our server was so nice to let him choose other things as a side. There wasn’t a wait for anything, but we are in the off season. Our server had all of our courses spread just right.
