  • The Island is a really neat place. There are restaurants, shops, an arcade and a couple of small rides. Not to mention the water-fountain show and the sky wheel, both which are all lit up at night wit...  more »
  • The day we went was hot. We went expecting shops and some eateries. There are more restaurants than shops, or so it seems. The kids enjoyed the airial experience and the cost was reasonable. The tram ...  more »

  • Beautifully landscaped, loved the religious sculptures and statues and bible scriptures throughout the park. Very relaxing and calming atmosphere. The parrots were just gorgeous, and the ones that liked to be held and fed were so cute, so many different types of birds were on display, and it was just amazing how the staff worked with them, and the visitors at the park. It was a place where you could sit on the benches, and just take all of the beauty in, and feel the serenity of the "Gardens of EDEN". The parrots, the beautiful flowers, the staff, and all of the visitors made my visit totally awesome. I certainly will recommend that everyone will visit PARROT ISLAND, and I will definitely return on my next trip to Tennessee. Young and old alike, there is something for everyone.
  • We had 2 toddlers which one was only able to ride 2 rides and the other only able to ride 1 ride so it was not very toddler friendly for us. It would be better for kids around 3 or 4. Lots of places to shop and eat. Very nice water fountain that puts on a show to music which was great. We used the tram and it was quick and easy to get back to our parking spot. Overall not bad just wasn't for us this trip due to the toddlers
  • Timberwood Grill had great service. Was able to bring our dog on patio. The shops were nothing to write home about. I will say though the popcorn place was a great stop, fresh stuff. I also enjoyed the wine tasting at the winery. There was too people in the distillery at the counters for moonshine tasting. The whole thing is a lot smaller than anticipated. But overall had a good time.
  • Amazing atmosphere, not crowded. The main free entertainment is colorful musical fountain, fountain show is every 30 min. Really huge free parking and tram that delivers you from parking to amusement park and back. The highest winder wheel, great views at night. Many things to do on a budget.
  • I loved this place. Kids got to enjoy the carnival aspect of it which was reasonably priced. Few restaurants and I don't recommend timberwood restaurant. Food was horrible. Over priced and service was the worst but the island itself was great. Lots of shops to look at and explore. The water fountain was cool its timed with the music and also there is a tram to take you from the parking lot to the island and back. Very helpful
