  • Love the atmosphere. Love at the shops. Love the colorful light display you can watch in the fountain at night. The water and lights and synced to the music and make for an amazing display. There are many rides and games for kids of all ages. And there are several restaurants located on the island as well. Parking can be a problem, but there is a tram that carts people for the lot to the main part of the island. And it's just a beautiful place.
  • Fountain was nice. Magic store was good. Rest was not so great. Hot and no shade. Hot dogs and not very good ones was $3.50. Not much for family's to do. Had to pay for all rides which was okay, but for the price you could get a ticket to kings island. Was probably great for couples or single people.
  • Great place to eat, play and shop. Tons of things to do with the whole family. There is a hotel (we didn't stay) on the top floor of all the shops. I suggest doing the wrist band it you have kids so they can ride free on most of the rides. Check out the website for info on what is not free with wristband. The ropes course is extra for one time as long as you want to stay on one trip. The wheel is awesome and my family (includes 14 year old girl and 11 year old) boy loved it. Make sure you stay late enough and ride it at night when it is all lit up! If you don't, you will come back because it looks awesome from the strip. Look at the website for the times. Two years ago, we left after the tram stopped for the night, so we walked to our van that was parked way out at midnight in a nearly empty parking lot. Again, they have that info in the website on when things open AND close. Don't get surprised!
  • My family and I enjoyed walking around The Island and looking at the shops, restaurants, and Show Fountain. There was about a 15 minute wait to catch a trolley from the parking lot the night we went. There are some rides, games, a ropes course, and several other things you can pay to do. We went on The Wheel at night which was a nice relaxing ride. We also had fun on the bumper cars despite the limited arena we had to ride them in. We heard a great Bluegrass band playing there that night. It's a nice place and we would go again next time we are in town.
  • Great place to walk around and window shop. Beautiful fountain, and fountain show. Make sure you bring lots of money because EVERYTHING there is super expensive. Was extremely surprised when I went into St. Nowhere Spa, to make a counter purchase of a produce, and saw on my receipt that a 15% gratuity is added to every check. I can understand that for a spa purchase, but a counter purchase? Seriously?? A mandatory tip for a lady to ring up my purchase, which she is being paid and hourly wage to do? Ridiculous. Plain and simple.
