(3.9/5 based on 650+ reviews on the web)
Take a ride on 61 m (200 ft) The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel at the base of Great Smoky Mountains National Park. If Ferris wheels scare you, don't worry. This ride is smooth, and you are completely enclosed in glass while relaxing in one of the 42 gondolas, which can hold up to eight people. You'll take in scenic views of Pigeon Forge and the mountains surrounding it from the top of this ride. You can combine your ride with a trip to Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies for a discount on both attractions. If you decide to take a ride at after dark, marvel at the million LED lights that illuminate the wheel at night. • Went on the wheel for the first time and had a blast. Was so very nice to get into a air conditioned place for a while. 2 thumbs up.
  • You can see the greatest views from "The Wheel". It is a little expensive for a ride but the views are great and you go around 4 times so I thought is was okay for the money.
