  • We have rode this several times and it is always so much fun. It's not scary at all, and once you get to the top it's a nice view back down.  more »

  • We arrived late during the week. There was no one in line.We we're riding in a flash. It was really pretty.Zipping off into the darkness, never knowing what was ahead. There are beautiful multi-colored lights leading you path. I recommend the after dark ride for sure. We we're hoping for a faster adventure. It is a smooth ride,no quick jerks to hurt the old back. If you have a little one you can ride double, they will ride safely between your legs.Prices are reasonable, second ride is half price and they give local discount. They have a wonderful staff very accommodating! Hope you have fun!!!
  • First the lady at the ticket window never acknowledged us as we we stood in line for a several minutes. As she continued to talk to people walking in the doors. After a while we were second guessing the sign in the window for ticket purchases. All we needed was a "be right with you". So we headed inside like everyone else who was being helped (clearly visible through the window) Only to be told to go back outside . It was weird. Then we stood in line for the ride itself. 45 minutes to get to the ticket taker. The ride looked great, spirits were high and the weather was cool but good. Then half of our group was seated and then machine that scanned our ticket started acting up, then all the personnel disappeared, then we sat there , and sat there, and sat there and sat there for what felt like forever. Before an announcement was made about technical difficulties. Then we waited again for ages. An announcement was made that they were still working on it. From where we were standing we could watch their security cameras. They were busy hustling up and down the tracks checking out the tracks. Then eventually they announced that it couldn't be fixed tonight. And then we were told that despite it being Sunday night and most of us were leaving town, we had 24 to 48 hours ( the guy didn't know) before our tickets expired. Uh what? Well, this wasn't their fault so we'll leave a little later than we planned and ride it in the morning. Cue us blowing time in pigeon forge having fun waiting for this highly rated ride! We get there a few minutes after their scheduled opening and there is a sign that they won't open for 3 more hours. Um yeah that's to late. But the windows are shuttered, no one is around and cars are in the lot and full of people. Our fearless group leader was starting to boil over. After a phone call we got help and a refund but absolutely ZERO consideration for our wasted time. There were other coasters and rides or shows we could have gone to or been comped free tickets for some other time. But nope. Nothing. The other coaster is as highly rated, we'll try it next time.
  • My friend and I with our 4 boys tried it out in February and we had so much fun! We loved it! We were given a discounted price to return that same day and we decided to after dark. We were told its great all lit up. It did not disappoint! We all raved about it and honestly I think it was the highlught of our trip. Loved it being in the woods and you had control of your speed. So fun!
  • We all had a lot of fun on this alpine slide. It has plenty of novelty points. It moves at a good pace and is pretty smooth. Going up and down the hill in the woods gets good immersion points. This alpine slide is a different design than the concrete track alpine slides we have done at Winter Park, CO and Bromley, VT. This is more of a roller coaster design, with metal rails, faster speed, a seat belt and cables that pull you up the hill. There are even nets along the track just in case. They do a good job of spacing out the carts to avoid interference. You should not see another cart on the track on the way down. You can and should go down the hill at full speed the whole way. The facility is rather new and in very good shape. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a problem with one boy about ten years old who went very slow in front of us, messing up the experience for everyone behind him. The staff saw this and arranged for our group to go again without additional charge because it isn't fun to trickle down the hill. Great customer service!! I definitely recommend this alpine slide. Plan on at least two runs, because one is not enough!
  • Unique diversion for a quick stop adventure. The ride is about 7-8 minutes long and covers approximately 1 mile. It's surprisingly fast and seems scary at times, but you should definitely go full throttle! My kids rode it 3 times in a row, because they had so much fun. That's pretty rare for an amusement ride for them. Grab a coupon from one of the tourist pamphlets you can get from any hotel or welcome center.
