a good ride for kids that like dinosaurs. My grandson was a little scared at first but when the ride was over he said it was cool. I think he liked that all the girls on the ride were scared at the en... read more »
While in Pigeon Forge with my 3 kids, we picked up a lot of pamphlets for area attractions. The flyer for the Jurassic boat ride looked promising. After paying nearly $60 for me and my 3 teen kids, we... read more »
This is great ride for kids. But if you are adults point of view it is just something to do and funny watching the kids reaction to the different animals.
If there were 0 stars I would give it! Horrible experience. I took my 3 and 4 year old because my youngest loves dinosaurs. I didn't care that the reviews said the graphics were bad and that it wasn't 'realistic. None of that matters because he is 3 and he will love it either way right? WRONG. The sound effects were so loud i had both of them covering their ears - like really - it is loud. Then at the very end ....the car you are sitting in starts to tilt backwards almost to the point that is completely vertical. we were told by the woman at the desk that the ride didn't 'dip or go on any hills or anything' so we assumed she was intelligent enough to remember the nearly vertical shift in our seats. She (emily) wasn't. So my kids and I were terrified that something was wrong with the stupid ride because again we were told that it stayed flat the whole time. The kids hated it and my 16 year old niece - who actually loves all rides and scary stuff hated - it too. After our near death encounter (haha) I asked emily how on earth she could not tell us about this considering that i grilled her as to how scary it would be for my kids. She replied "are you kidding me ?" As if my expectation that she do her job and inform her patrons accurately was absurd. She was at least intelligent enough to count back our money so that was the best part of the experience. They have a log that they make you sign when they give a refund. It was FULL of tickets. GO figure.
This the the creme de la creme of awfulness. For 5 breath takingly, cringe worthy minutes, I floated around in the most bewildering, podunk, dark ride that the Earth has ever seen. It makes Blazing Fury at Dollywood look like Disneyland's Pirates of the Carribbean. Embarrassingly bad animatronics. Confusing lightning and pacing. And it all culminates in a totally non sesnical "special effect" at the end. If you drive by, treat yourself to the Citizen Kane of bad attractions. I was in literal tears upon leaving. This was 10 times funnier than the Comedy Barn. I feel like $15 is a steal for the amount of belly laughs.
In short, the ride was overpriced and very, very underwhelming. You can tell that most of the equipment is not working. The timings on the animatronics/lights/sounds are completely off and ruin the atmosphere. A large portion of the lights do not even work, so you just sit in the dark. I really am trying to not be too critical because it is obviously a kids ride, but even kids wouldn't be scared of any of this. The scariest parts are when you are stuck in the dark, wondering if the ride is broken. I 100% do not recommend wasting your time or money on this.
Awful!! We went in there to have a nice family experience expect we were treated so poorly and even told to leave!! They were supposed to open at 9:30 via website however they were closed until 12pm due to maintenance. No big deal we were all upset and I simply stated "that's not the website said." Employee came flying out of the corner and started a huge fight! She totally crossed the line by getting upset with us being upset! I'm sure she was frustrated having to explain over and over to families why they were not open yet but she took it out on us! She even told my husband to "get the f*** out of here and not to come bag until her shift was over" she chased us to our car!!! Three small children and my uncle who has Down syndrome! It was ridiculous! It's so upsetting that this behavior is accepted and we are the ones being punished has paying customers! Totally do not go there!!!!!!!!!!!
on the pricey side and very cheesy but our 2 year old and 4 year old loved it so much we were happy with it. The attendant told us the ride lasted 15 minutes and that is a flat out lie. Maybe 10 at best (and that's generous). I wouldn't do it again, but the kids enjoyed it so much i don't regret it either.
