Dollywood sits in the verdant foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains. Owned by country singer Dolly Parton, the venue offers standard amusement park thrill rides, as well as attractions with traditional crafts and music of this region. The park frequently features musical events, with regular appearances by Dolly herself. You can choose from ten themed areas packed with roller coasters, rafting rides, craft exhibits, carousels, water-toboggan rides, and live shows. The park's signature attraction is a narrow-gauge train pulled by two steam locomotives. Try to plan for a stop at the museum dedicated to gospel music. It has an interactive video and sound clips, plus thousands of items belonging to the genre's biggest names. For travelers who use our world travel planner, Pigeon Forge holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Dollywood and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Llittle expensive but great entertainment and rides. Lets you get away from all the problems the news media is creating and here good southern Gospel music and country western groups.
  • One word to describe Dolly wood. Fun. We love it here. There are a good amount amusement parks we've been to in California, Orlando Florida and Tennessee. I'd put dolly wood in out of top 10. I'd put ...  read more »
  • My family has visited Dollywood several times over the years and it has become our favorite theme park. Although you'll do a lot of walking, the park is still small enough to navigate pretty quickly o...  read more »
  • Dollywood is amazing... Me and my friends went on firechasher express and blazing fury about a million times it was so fun. If you go to lumberjack pizza they have the biggest pizza ever 🍕 One slice weighed one pound!! We got so funnel cakes and they were a little to over cooked but it was good. Dollywood is amazing and you will definitely enjoy all the rides! Lightning rod is so so fast and scary but I'm not a big fan of roller coasters but that's a different story! So enjoy the time of your life at Dollywood!!
  • Dollywood is the cleanest, friendliest theme park I've ever been to. My family goes every year and we love it!! Dolly offers come in after 3 one day come in the next day free most of the season which we always take advantage of. The rides are AWESOME. Compared to other theme parks that always have rides closed and are not clean there is no comparison. There are lots of shady areas and places to rest. If we lived closer we would go all the time. We look forward to our visits to Dollywood!!!
  • We have been going here since I was a kid.... now I have been married for 10 years an still go yearly with my husband and daughter. Alot has changed over time but it always feels like you are having the time of your life. The rides are fun an there are some for each age. Even on a hot summer day, you can cool off on a water ride or watch a show. I wish there was a way just to get in to shop. There is never time to look at all the cute things I would love to see an get because riding rides is much more fun to my 7 year old... The family at the park is so caring and kind. They have always been warm an welcoming. My family and I will go here each year as long as we can afford it.
  • Get there early and ride all the roller coasters before the storm clouds roll over and rain comes down. Was able to ride the lightning rod and man is it fast a bit of a line because it's the best buy it's worth it. Then went to aunt granny's all you care to eat buffet and man is it filling and southern! Worth the price of you can eat your way though a couple plates, but what makes it worth it is the service, we had a wonderful lady who was so friendly and who you could just talk loves to be working there and serving you.
  • The wild eagle is absolutely the best ride yet. It's a cross between a wild roller coaster and an airplane ride! You just have to ride it to say " It's my favorite ride ever!" My granddaughter is 5 and she can't wait to be big enough to enjoy it with the rest of the family.
