  • A historic facility, with great views, and superb culinary selections. Come explore, take a tour, or better yet enjoy fine dining! Loved our trip, and so did the tour group!
  • A few ladies and I went to Geordies just for Happy Hour. A good way to size up a restaurant. They tried to accommodate us but we ended up having to sit on a sofa with a small cocktail table. Outside tables were empty but we were told they were reserved. Nobody showed up all evening. The problem is that they have almost no place for happy hour, yet they advertise it. If you do not want this crowd, don't have HR. The food was horrendous on the HR menu. Very very heavy on carbs. The Margarita pizza was regular thicker pizza loaded with too much cheese. We ordered from the regular menu and had the steamed mussels, but I had much better broth at less expensive restaurants. We have been all over the city for HR, and would never come back here. Definitely need to get a new chef. Also, the waitress we had served us well, she was very impatient and acted like we were beneath the establishment. We get one check and tip well. We are well dressed, so I do not know what the problem is there.
  • If you are going for the tour SKIP THE LUNCH!! It is bland and mediocre at best and wayyyy over priced for what they serve. I can't say enough good things about the tour and our tour guide she was awesome and that part was fun. Save some money and eat before you go a nice restaurant
  • Love coming to the Sunday brunch my family and I have been doing the brunch for many years. We try to frequent the brunch every two to three weeks while it is available and we have time. The wait staff is awesome and are very nice to my wife myself and two children. I love the prime rib, shrimp, oysters and of course the bottomless champagne! We have had private events with family and friends and it has always been pleasant. I enjoy the staff as they are friendly to my kids who can be stinkers which goes a long way in my book! We enjoy walking the mansion after mom and dad are stuffed! My daughter loves the pineapple room and my son likes looking for ghosts (none have been found). We opted for purchasing the mansion membership as it includes free valet parking and you get emails on different events at the mansion. I am a long term customer as I enjoy the buffet and friendly hospitality they offer myself and family!
  • Super cool, went there in jeans and a tee-shirt and thought I might be underdressed. The staff didn't make me feel like an outsider and were very welcoming and friendly. Was able to walk around with drink in hand and explore the mansion, which was really cool.
