  • Came here to relax and wind down from work at the end of a 2 week business trip, I was dubious as I'd never raced an electric kart, I like the reassuring screaming of an engine over my shoulder. A big...  more »

  • Fun place, easy going staff. 5 star if karts were an inch or two bigger on the seats.
  • Kids love it. Very safe. Guys in the track area are nice and comforting to all drivers. Seriously, fix and or replace the announcement of races. It sounds like the worst sound system!!
  • Karting is awesome. You can't get a taste of racing for less money and normally it's worthwhile. I'm not sure how K1 is getting it so wrong. The facility including the track, the karts, the ambiance, the price, etc is all totally acceptable. BUT. The karts...oh wow. I was there a couple weeks ago and raced twice in a row. I'm no pro/expert, but we kart at Octane and other places at least once a month so we understand the normal run of things at an indoor karting place. 1. The seat: Its not very deep or supportive. When you turn, sliding out of the seat is too easy. 2. Harnesses: goofy 3-point setup that goes over your head and clips between your legs. But they don't lock tightly. Coupled with the seat, you're literally falling out of the kart constantly. 3. Tires/balance: This ultimately ruined it for me. Maybe the setup was off for one reason or another but the 2 different karts I drove understeered like PIGS. Any input at a reasonable speed=understeer. Come on now. This is not the makings of a fun afternoon. And of course they don't have enough power to even out the balance with the throttle. So you're stuck plowing all over the place. Skip K1 and go to Octane.
  • Karts were fast and durable. I loved racing here.
  • Called them first, she said first come first serve, I showed up after an hour, the said sorry we are closed for private event. It took an hour to drive there and the didn't bother to mention that they are notable to accept us. She mentioned night requirements, hours, fees but didn't bother mentioning have a private event. What a loosing place for Customer service. At this paste won't be open long.
