  • Beautiful place
  • The tour - at well over an hour, and much more detailed than it probably should have been for this size of a mansion - cost $10. You certainly get your money's worth. Having been passed down through several generations and different owners, nothing is left to the imagination, as almost everything is labeled. There are numerous rooms, all beautifully decorated. Well worth the time and money to detour (10 minutes north of Phillipi).
  • We came into the area to revisit the AB campus, and discovered Royal Tea at Adaland. The four of us had a wonderful time, tea was interesting and plentiful. The service was impeccable, the Mansion was lovely and decorated for Christmas. A lovely experience and look forward to when we are in the area again and can revisit. A wonderful partnership of volunteers to enhance a lovely old Mansion. Betsy and Patricia Chapman and Joseph and Joyce Buzick R
