University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia

4.5
Tour University of Pennsylvania to see the largest of the Ivy League universities and arguably the oldest university in the United States. The school combines an intimate charm with plenty of opportunities for exploring. Founded by Benjamin Franklin, the campus boasts one of the world's best archaeology museums--a testament to its leadership in that field in the 19th and 20th centuries. Catch a football or basketball game if the season's right, tour the auditorium to see its incredible interior design, take in the campus architecture, or stop at the performing arts venue. Though in the heart of the city, the university retains a countryside feel, with many walking trails and a botanical garden. All the same, the urban setting offers convenient proximity to transportation and restaurants. • We took some time to explore this campus and found it quite ordinary. Although it has a very rich history it was not one of the more memorable campuses to visit.. We loved the Museum of Archaeology an...  more »
  • We walked from our hotel out to the campus to see the historic buildings and statues. It did not disappoint. It also leads to a funky neighbourhood with bistros and pubs -- the campus book store is ou...  more »

  • I love this neighborhood! It offers every type of person you can ever imagine from all cultures, races, sexual orientations and of course everybody has a multitude of hobbies and interest so nobody is left without somebody to connect with. The town or I should say the neighborhood is very accepting and welcoming I truly cannot imagine a person that wouldn't fit in here somewhere with someone. If you can't find something to-do hobby/friend here then you are obviously struggling with something a little deeper. Granted the crowd in the area is namely 22 to 35 but there are still a great deal of older citizens who are awesome and friendly. It has a pretty decent gay scene if you are looking for that and the college parties are near constant and out of this world!
  • Lovely women. Smart, meaningful statues around campus. Highly recommend driving and parking on campus. A breeze!
  • I️ have a 2.5gpa and I am intristed in this college so much. I️ am applying over review because I️ got declined over application. Pls consider🔥
  • Parking is tight, not too bad percentage cities places. The hospital is beautiful. But like all Hospital hurry up and wait
  • I am trying to get a vet assistant job and came across a lab technician job at their University. But, it was pertaining to taking care of the lab animals. I was upset about that and want to know what kind of animals they doing lab tests on. They should be exposed for what they are doing. I know they are some type of research university, but why do they have to use animals!!!!????
