  • This is a wonderful opportunity to experience an historic building, gardens and culture that is non indigenous to the area. A beautiful glimpse of the past from a land most of us might never travel to. The use of wood in time honored tradition to protect against earthquakes. The materials and layout of the gardens keeps one centered spiritually. Truly needs to be visited by all.
  • It was wonderful. The moment you walk in te gate, you arrive to the exotic beauty of Japanese culture.Every week or so ,the perform different Japanese ceremonies. But personally, I would love to visit it during the beginning of summer to enjoy cherry blossom flowers. It adds the place with heavenly warmth.
  • Great place. First time to enter a Japanese home. The "tour" guides were very informative. Bring your student ID.
  • Beautiful escape from the city. They had a fun scavenger hunt over Halloween weekend with other programming that was sold out. Definitely worth the $2 to buy the fish feed. Free entrance +5 for active military members!
  • Always fun place to explore and just to relax amongst well maintained garden. I like to seat out on the verandas and let my imagination transport me to Japan without the 18 hours of arduous flight to Asia. I wish noise screens are installed around the perimeter of the property to block distracting noise coming from passing cars.
