  • Went to hear the worlds largest functioning pipe organ, which was a delight! Peter Conte, Principal Grand Court Organist, is a master of this symphonic giant. Unfortunately, the staff of the department store, should receive more training in customer service. We had asked if there were any chairs available to sit in for the 45min. mid-day recital. We were told the seats are in the ladies shoe department on the first floor. I explained to employee that I didn't want to take up a seat for a potential paying customer. His exact words, "So! I guess you can sit on the floor." As a person in retail, I was pretty appalled by his response. Non the less, my family and I stayed for the recital and took our seats on the floor..
  • For most of my visit the customer service people were very helpful. However, when I entered the women's shoe department a salesman by the name Thomas N. was less than courteous. He acted like speaking to me was a chore and to top it all off, I asked him to help me find a shoe. He took the shoe, and left me waiting. After about 10 minutes of waiting I noticed that a new representative came on duty; when I asked him about Thomas N. he said that he had gone on break. I was so frustrated that I just left without the shoes. I am very disappointed in Macy's, I normally get better service.
  • I love the Christmas Light Show and the Charles Dickens Exhibit! Love the Golden Eagle Statue since I was a little boy. Always been amazing! Keep up the good work!
  • A bit pricey, some OK deals on shoes. The main reason to go there is the Wanamaker Organ that is actually the whole building. So, what you can do there: buy your shoes while being inside the world's biggest musical instrument and listening to it being played! There are daily concerts at 1900, they are however not always an hour long.
  • Great place to visit. You just time it for when the organ is played, it's amazing. Check out signs in ground floor. Largest working organ in world and organist is great. Such an amazing building.
