  • Not your average "museum". More like a retail store front. Lots and lots of bugs encased in glass tanks and some in metal cages. Huge tarantulas and scorpions. There is also an opportunity for guests ...  read more »
  • The staff was very friendly and allowed us (my boyfriend and I) to hold the leopard gecko, which was awesome. The person there also shared very interesting facts about the space, as well as the specie...  read more »
  • We went here with friends--2 couples and 6 kids! We loved looking at the insect collections, and watching the bees and tarantulas! The kids loved holding the animals, and we even all tried eating meal...  read more »
  • Took my son last year and he absolutely loved it. Friendly staff, lots of interesting displays and live critters. We're going back tomorrow as a special trip before he starts kindergarten! Would definitely recommend for any bug enthusiast, young or old!
  • I haven't been in for many years but I used to work with the company maybe 10-15 years ago. I wanted to reply to the Google review from five years ago. .... You thought it "was going to be great" for $7 dollars? Really? $7 bucks is what a McDonald's meal cost. Do you dress up and make a reservation when you out at McDonald's? But from my understanding it's no longer owned by Steve and most likely why it went down hill.
  • Great place for kids! I took my nephew and he loved it. He was able to hold different insects and there were puzzles and games. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Great place.
  • I took my 11 year old grandson and we had a lot of fun. The insects were very interesting and sometimes even creepy, which he enjoyed. Our guide, Miss Ann, was a charmer, she really made the visit. Her interaction with the lizards and bugs was priceless. The place is small but so is the price (especially when on Groupon). It was an interesting hour and a half visit to a not so common place.
  • For $7 a head I expected a bit more. I did like the live cockroach display. Upstairs was nice when they had a staff members let you hold a bug or 2 but the past 2 times we were there no one around? Maybe I was there at odd times as no other visitors either? However, for the most part my kids enjoyed and have asked many times to go back again. I agree it does need some many of the buttons they have which turn on lights in the displays did not work.
