  • Our family thoroughly enjoyed our visit to this out-of-the-way slice of American history. We spent about 2 hours wandering the grounds, exploring the various buildings and other structures. Some of th...  more »
  • We stopped here on our way to New Jersey for the weekend. Went nice and early and had the place to ourselves until the school buses arrived from NY. But we got to see the entire place (nearly) while e...  more »
  • Some great his store call history of this location and it’s a must for all type of historians to check out. If you’re into the Paranormal there are some wonderful ghost lore and stories that are attached with this site also. The staff themselves will answer most questions pertaining to the actual history but will avoid the Paranormal questions
  • We loved our visit here! Came on a hot August 90 degree 2 adults 2 teen boys. Truly a hidden treasure with so much to see. There was only one other couple there the entire time we were visiting. The official guy that worked in the office seemed annoyed with our presence. I went up later to ask him a question and I guess with the huge influx of visitors he didn't have the time to offer. However the ground keeper was a wealth of information and very gracious. If not for him we would have had no questions answered. He deserves a raise or a promotion! Multi-tasking on his riding mower 💪🏼
  • Great place. Been here on multiple field trips and this time for "siege weekend". Good for anyone even if you are not a huge history buff.
  • I went on two tours the first one was very informative and entertaining and it's very casual place they were not like a museum where you can explore look obviously there certain things you couldn't touch and then later that night I went to a concert tour it was more like a candlelit service with beautiful very creepy I would recommend not doing this if you are scared of ghosts like myself I would like to thank my tour guide he was great also very friendly
  • Great place to go with family i went myself for the haunted candle lit tour and had a great time the guide is amazing and the place other then having a beautiful fort inside is also a little spooky you do feel some sort of presence here
