  • Small little cemetery near Liberty Bell containing final resting place of Benjamin Franklin, three other signers of the Declaration of Independence, and many early Colonial military and their family. The grave marker of Benjamin Franklin is currently under preservation and cannot be viewed.
  • Interesting to have such an old cemetery downtown. Definitely worth a visit!!
  • Lots of things to read and know around the grave. Worth the walk.
  • I don't know how exciting a cemetery is supposed to be. I was a little surprised to have to pay admission, but it is private property and receives a lot of foot traffic, so I feel the price was nominal considering the upkeep probably required. It was something that I'm glad I did. The staff were knowledgeable about the cemetery and were able to answer a few questions I had about the property.
  • Pretty cool to get to see Ben's tomb. Throw a penny on it for good luck-it all goes to preserving the tombs in the graveyard. For $2.00 you can go into the whole graveyard itself, which is pretty cool too if you like graves.
