  • If you're a history buff and visit Philly, it's a quick, free attraction you have to see to say you did it.
  • Ben Franklins grave is in a grave yard and it's good to pay respect to this great man. The grave is next door to the Philadelphia Mint easy to walk to from Independence visitors center.
  • This place is very close to US Mint and we crossed it and spent time in reading the signboards, which speak of history of America's top makers.

  • I don't know how exciting a cemetery is supposed to be. I was a little surprised to have to pay admission, but it is private property and receives a lot of foot traffic, so I feel the price was nominal considering the upkeep probably required. It was something that I'm glad I did. The staff were knowledgeable about the cemetery and were able to answer a few questions I had about the property.
  • Pretty cool to get to see Ben's tomb. Throw a penny on it for good luck-it all goes to preserving the tombs in the graveyard. For $2.00 you can go into the whole graveyard itself, which is pretty cool too if you like graves.
  • The two women at the entrance were extremely knowledgeable. Be sure to ask questions like how they could bury 10+ people in one tomb. Really interesting stuff.
  • Pretty cool just to be able to see the place where Ben Franklin is buried. There's not much here, so don't expect grandeur.
  • Very cool, located near the liberty bell.
