  • We did not pay the entry fee. There is a gate you can see thru and read about Ben on signage from the street. Interesting that he, his wife, and son are buried there.
  • A plate in the floor that covers the tomb of President Franklin. Beside the grave of his wife. Simple, but venerable. So I would not make a detour, but the grave is located only two or three-minute walk from the Liberty Bell.

  • There are times it's difficult to wrap your head around what you're seeing. That's how I felt standing at the foot of Benjamin Franklin's grave. This man was a guiding force of our nation's birth. His...  more »

  • I don't know how exciting a cemetery is supposed to be. I was a little surprised to have to pay admission, but it is private property and receives a lot of foot traffic, so I feel the price was nominal considering the upkeep probably required. It was something that I'm glad I did. The staff were knowledgeable about the cemetery and were able to answer a few questions I had about the property.
  • Pretty cool to get to see Ben's tomb. Throw a penny on it for good luck-it all goes to preserving the tombs in the graveyard. For $2.00 you can go into the whole graveyard itself, which is pretty cool too if you like graves.
  • The two women at the entrance were extremely knowledgeable. Be sure to ask questions like how they could bury 10+ people in one tomb. Really interesting stuff.
  • Pretty cool just to be able to see the place where Ben Franklin is buried. There's not much here, so don't expect grandeur.
  • Very cool, located near the liberty bell.
