  • I attended a private dinner party here and was amazed that you could have an event in such a neat environment! I do not believe I saw the whole museum, but what was open, was really interesting. The d...  more »
  • Drexel University Science Museum. Dinosaur model and exhibits many, many families. It was quite small, however, compared to the other sciences, natural history museum, sad feeling.

  • This visit was very interesting. The dinosaur area is very well thought out and the interactive movie was so much fun. the digging area was not well stocked which put this down a star. the outdoor in ...  more »

  • Dollar for dollar I think this is a great museum. It's run by Drexel university and I believe this is a better experience then the better known Franklin institute. Check out the new baby dinosaurs exhibit- my kids loved it. The docents are knowledgeable and host little interactive stands throughtout exhibit space. The food in the cafe is sub par so consider eating before or after your visit.
  • Really good for kids, and I found much of it interesting too. Saw a presentation of a live Solomon Islands prehensile-tailed skink and an armadillo, which was great. Interesting to see the long history of the academy as well, though I didn't get a chance to read all of the details.
  • Pretty decent museum. Has a nice dinosaur exhibit and a good number of taxidermy animals. Can see everything in it in 2-3 hours. Has a kid's room on the top floor with a number of smaller animals and room for them to run around.
  • My fiance and I went to the museum.for the shell show.last weekend..we.explored.the.rest of the museum.which was mediocre and maybe ok for small kids. I decided to venture up into the Outside In room on the 3rd floor. They have a white rat that is kept in a small tank. It has a plastic house to sleep in and a cardboard house and that's it. No toys nothing. This disturbed me greatly because I have owned rats before. They are very intelligent animals and need stimulation and a larger housing cage or tank. They are.also pack animals and need to have at least one other playmate. This is very cruel. I tried contacting the museum with no response. Very unprofessional!!!
  • Lack of stairs makes it a little confusing. Cafe food not great for kids. otherwise great place to visit and great dioramas
