  • A nice place to visit for some Civil war history. Watch the film, take a walk, and do the driving tour. Learned alot here.
  • Beautiful walking path and driving tour. Small visitor center, with a nice video and memorabilia. Extremely clean restrooms. They have a research dept you can visit by appointment. Nicely landscaped. Lots of educational signs. $5 vehicle fee is good for 7days. Battery 5 path is an easy walk that leads to a few steep stairs.
  • Definitely not kid friendly my son fell on there uneven side walk and they had a very rude employee who had no interest in even looking for a bandaid for him! What kind of place doesn't have a first-aid kit, accidents happen every where at anytime they should be prepared!!! Unbelievably disappointed with this place!
  • Great piece of history. Recommend walking the battlefield and taking in the sites. Check out the crater and you get the opportunity to see how the Union and Confederate setup their positions.
  • This place is awesome for educational walks, nature walks or runs. I feel safe and love the shade the trees provide. The ground is flat enough to run on without having to worry about injury.
  • Fascinating walk through the history of the area and insights into the Civil War. The park is beautifully maintained and the information given at each stop is present well.
