  • Any time we drive out to the coast, we stop at Marin French...free samples and good deals on excellent cheeses. Also a good place to hang out and have a picnic.

  • Amazing scenery r, elaxing atmosphere. ... great for a picnic glass of wine and reading a book (yes a book) hiking around the grounds or even taking a cast or two in the large fish pond. Cheese is excellent and little store has anything and everything u can imagine. What a fabulous place to spend the day.
  • I have been to this place many times as far back as I can remember. And I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for a new policy. Actually it's how they delivered the new policy. You have to spend at least $20 in order to use their picnic areas. I get that they are trying to discourage people from stopping and just using the restrooms or having a picinic and then leaving without buying anything. This place use to be a fun place for kids to go and it still is. But now it's like a lot of other businesses in California where they charge the customers for anything and everything.
  • This is a tough call, but I've found their Brie to be superb on some occasions(5 star French country style) and 2 star at other times---not sure why, but maybe their QA needs some attention. Depending on luck this can be an outstanding or mediocre.
  • Beautiful location with a modern, fully stocked cheese tasting and deli counter. The best part was a picnic style quiet area on a little pond where you can eat and relax.
  • They have many choices of the cheese products. We bought three different ones, they were all very good. I don't remember how much I paid, but I remember they were not pricey. It is a nice place to stop for lunch, as it has a nice view and outdoor tables.
