  • All of Kentucky is beautiful and I'm sure every inch of it has a story to tell, but the story of the battle of Perryville is beautifully told in words, images and in monuments at this historic site. I...  more »

  • The guides are really friendly and can answer any questions you have about the history. I went with a group and we were able to walk the battlefield while following on the map. A real American history experience once you complete the tour!
  • I love this place and I do not want to ride by there at dark because last time I rode by there I was with my new uncle and my brother Cameron we was sitting here In the truck then we heard a chipping sound and it was the heater and it got extremely cold in the car and we took off and we never went there again but we will only go there when it is open Perryville battlefield is a ghost soldier place enter at your own risk during the day but don't go at dark because people will be prosecuted against the law and go to jail warning Perryville battlefield is a haunted place you do not want to go to ⚠⚠⚠⚠
  • This battlefield is a gem! While small, the museum is excellent and worth the cost of admission. The video explains not only the battle but the strategic situation in 1862. The path around the battlefield helps tourists follow the course of the battle. The battlefield is incredible well maintained and very complete, better than some more well know battlefields. This is a "cannot miss" battlefield for those interested in the Civil War. I was truly impressed and cannot recommend it highly enough.
  • Ethereal. Singularly beautiful and tranquil. Impeccably maintained and interpreted and the vast expansion of historically significant park land has resulted in one of the premier Civil War sites in the country. The essence of what transpired here is palpable. Perryville Battlefield is a Kentucky gem and National treasure. One of my favourite places.
  • A great battlefield preservation effort is underway here. In the last decade numerous improvements have been underway to expand the site and reclaim much of the core battlefield. The rolling hills offer a great vista of the historic area.
