The fairgrounds are the location of the Georgia National Fair every October. Nothing less than a pleasant experience every year I have attended. The fairgrounds are safe, well lit, and there are a sufficient amount of medical and security staff on hand.
Had a fun time at the same State fair. The lines were long, but moved fairly quickly. I loved being to enjoy some of my favorite carnival foods. The drive wasn't bad coming from Atlanta.
They have a nice fair every year that our family has enjoyed for quite sometime. Also their events with livestock make my granddaughter so happy.
Great place for a horse show. Nice barns and the arena is air conditioned.
As someone from Perry, I'm proud of what this place has become since it was built in the early '90's. One of those moonshot ideas that really paid off, not just for Middle Georgia but the state as a whole. The grounds and facilities are well-kept. Parking is always a bear, but without unsightly parking garages I don't know of a better way of doing it.
