  • For those of us in the UK who read the books and watched the t.v. show, this museum provides an interesting view of a part of LIW's life we didn't get to see. Even though not many items on display in ...  more »
  • I visited here after visiting the wayside. There is a bit about the fishing industry of early Pepin, a replica school room and a small museum. Not a lot of items are from the Ingalls connection are on...  more »
  • This place is an awesome place!! I love it just the way it is! It has a gift shop when you walk in then there is a room off to your right and one off to your left. They both have displays in them which are really cool to look at!
  • I honestly did not know much about Laura Ingalls Wilder expect for the books she wrote. This museum provided a great way to start my family's journey into Laura Ingalls Wilder's life and the story behind it. The museum provided insight into the early life of Laura along with demonstrating what life would have been like during Laura's time. Even though it is small the museum does contain some items owned by the family. Be sure to also get directions to the replica cabin (Little House in the Big Woods). This spot is a great starting point to follow the journey the family took and the places and experiences that inspired Laura's books.
  • This museum is so cool! Sure it's small, but you can actually see the exhibits. Not everything is behind glass. And the stuff is cool too! I love this place and go there often!
  • Well done! So fun to see where Laura was born. Great job on the museum!
  • My 3rd grade boy went on a field trip there. He loved it! I assure you that it will be a great and memorable experience for you!
