  • This was a pretty large play and learning center that's great for kids in a wide range of ages. I took my toddler knowing he probably wouldn't even be interested in a lot, but would love to run around...  read more »

  • I have been to the playhouse at least 10 times. It is probably the best children's oriented event in Peoria. Go there your kids 10 and other will love it.
  • It's a great place if you go on Member Tuesdays. Otherwise, it's too crowded, especially during Spring school season (lots of field trips - every day, overpacked) - and over the summer when a lot of daycares go there. But if you go on Member Tuesdays, it's great. Not sure if it's worth the membership price for only 3 hours a week though.
  • Fun for the kids. Loved the sand area and the workshop room where the kids can use real tools. Was a bit small fortune price when compared to the Discovery Museum in Normal, IL but a much better deal than the Riverfront kids museum.
  • My boy loves it. We bought a membership and have been dozens of times. It never gets boring to him. He is 1 1/2
  • Such a wonderful place for kids young and old! Two full levels of interactive play areas offer a variety of experiences for kids ages 0-8 years.
  • Outstanding destination to take young ones! My two (both under three) had a blast. They've done an amazing job converting this unique house into a learning/playing arena. Great craftsmanship abounds and (save for a few out-of-order signs) everything is in great shape. It isn't cheap, but the quality of play the kids get over a chaotic madhouse like Monkey Joes is worth it. A family of four going more than twice is better off buying a membership. As long as they keep up with the maintenance and can find a way to rotate a few exhibits to keep things fresh, this should be a long-term winner.
