  • Great for families and they have a lot of events. The exhibit on Peoria (I think it's called Main Street?) needs redone. Very blah and uninteresting. Instead of highlighting the people from Peoria's h...  more »
  • Peoria desperately needs some culture and this is a step in the right direction. There is, however, room for improvement. I've been here twice and enjoyed myself both times. This isn't that great, it'...  more »
  • This museum has it all: art exhibits, history exhibits, planetarium, IMAX theater, hands-on fun for the kids, and many live events.

  • The only smart thing to do here is get a membership. Then you have free admission to come and go as you please when the traveling exhibits are changed out. Not a lot to see here per say, but the hundreds of other museums your membership gets you into are definitely well worth the cost. Members only events, discounts also contribute to the value. Big Screen theater is best place to see a movie in town, although what you get to see is rather limited.
  • 360 view, amazing that how I would want to see pictures. Period!
  • Truly unbelievable the amount of history in this building. I was awestruck by the Duryea car they had on display. The first car ever built in the USA!
  • The museum is meh, unless there is an exhibit worth seeing. The Astronaut exhibit was outstanding.
  • Great place for the kids. Lots of hands on activities, water station, planetarium, gift shop. We had a blast! So much so, that the kids asked to go back the next day.
