  • Great variety of animals and birds. Well kept animal areas and ongoing revamping of animal areas to make them more like natural habitats. Very family friendly.  more »
  • Nice people and kid family zoo. Big enough to spend the day, small enough to not wipe you out. Make sure you have the kds feed the giraffes.  more »
  • Great selection of animals. Very fun to have young lions & tigers & baby giraffe- kids really love that! Lunch for kids is great - little toy, food, drink & cookie.  more »

  • Awesome place to take kids. Zoo keepers and volunteers were very friendly and knowledgeable. Activities and playground area for kids. Also noticed some picnic tables. Definitely bringing a picnic lunch next time
  • Need to stay open later in the evening and play up the evening lights & availability to working moms & dads who want to do something relaxing with their kids after school. Possibly make a lower evening rate from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
  • It took us about 3 hours to know this place for the first time. It was quiet, relaxed and very pleasant visit. A nice option for a Sunday walk with the family.
  • My niece had fun but there was a lot of the park under construction. And pay $5 to feed a giraffe a piece of lettuce and sweet potato (kind of a rip off)
  • This was a nostalgic trip. Went to see the new lion cubs and boy are those sisters super cute!! Unfortunately the glass that lets you get right next to them is clouded and dirty making it horrible for pictures. Over the years the expansions and enclosures have gotten so much better and animal-friendly. So bummed to miss the Australian walk-thru as it was closed the day we were there. :/ The old entrance building seems kind of sad. We took our obligatory pics with the front lion statues though!
