  • We were visiting our son on the NAS Pcola Base and decided to check it out. It was very interesting to walk around and get some insight into the history of the Fort. Worth the visit.
  • Our family enjoyed the history of the Fort and walking through it weather was beautiful for being outside as well
  • This Fort is in Pensacola Beach, driving, gotta go to the right edge of the island, has a beautiful view, and some objects of the time, very nice for those who like to see a bit of history.

  • Really cool fort and historical site located on Pensacola Naval Air Station. Fun for all ages as there are a series of passageways and tunnels within the fort. Was interesting to learn that the Barrancas fort expansion and Ft. Pickens (across the bay) were both built by slave labor.
  • This fort is difficult to get to - as you have to enter the military base, but it is well worth the trip. This stop is actually two differnet forts and they are easily accessed.
  • Great fort. Able to walk completely through it including tunnels that take you to each section. Was also lucky enough to watch the Blue Angels practice .
  • Very cool trip. Plan a day.
  • Amazing place to visit. Highly recommend that if your in the area you visit.
