  • Visited a week ago, it's an ok site. There are steps because of its age, not too sure if wheelchair happy. Worth a visit if you like history. Also a little bit eerie.....

  • Really cool fort and historical site located on Pensacola Naval Air Station. Fun for all ages as there are a series of passageways and tunnels within the fort. Was interesting to learn that the Barrancas fort expansion and Ft. Pickens (across the bay) were both built by slave labor.
  • Great fort. Able to walk completely through it including tunnels that take you to each section. Was also lucky enough to watch the Blue Angels practice .
  • Amazing place to visit. Highly recommend that if your in the area you visit.
  • This fort is difficult to get to - as you have to enter the military base, but it is well worth the trip. This stop is actually two differnet forts and they are easily accessed.
  • Nice park with very friendly and knowledgeable park rangers. Interesting history of the fort
