  • Enjoyed an afternoon looking at wares and at the end we tasted some bourbon whiskey. Beautiful venue, live music. Only downside was the porta potties which were kind of gross. Overall a great time!
  • This was the best distillery my buddies and I visited while we were in Kentucky. Definitely a unique business. We got to learn about the whole process of whiskey making, from grain to bottle, and it w...  more »
  • Picturesque setting. Very rural. Passed many Amish buggies on the narrow road coming from Bowling Green. Place used to be an Amish farm so it looks different from any other distillery ive visited. Lot...  more »

  • DO NOT GO HERE!! Upon arrival we entered the craft barn where we were not spoken to or greeted at all. Our legs were very tired so we went into the gift shop hoping to lean and regain some strength. However when we tried to lean in the counter we were rudely yelled at and told that if not 21 years old ou can not lean on the bar. Then after this horrible experience she tried to get us to go on a 30 minute tour of basically nothing for five whole dollars. At this moment we abruptly left and got back on the interstate
  • The people we were greeted by at the front doing the yard work were wonderful, however upon entering the gift shop we were treated horrible. We brought 2 small dogs in that we had asked about bringing in previously. Upon arriving we had decided to buy multiple Bottles of liquor, and were treated very poorly the entire time. The only attention the woman at the sample station was giving to anyone was to a man who seemed set on sampling every type of liquor. There were pauses in their conversations where we requested a sample and were told we could not start with the same one she had been pouring. We waited patiently for approximately 20 minutes while she carried on a nonsensical conversation with the man, completely ignoring our presence. Our dogs sat and waited patiently without disrupting or barking. Eventually we had to inform them we would just be leaving which seemed to be perfectly fine with the woman, to which she lost out on an easily 500 bill. The customer service is atrocious and had it not been for the lovely gardeners in the front our entire visit would have been a waste of time. The staff should be taught that customer service is the only way a small business will ever hope to stay afloat, especially with so much competition near by. The woman at the front should be trained to be more aware of other customers, and the potential ill effects that come with being unable to multitask. Talking to more than one customer at a time is essential if you only are staffed with one person. We were disappointed in her rude behavior towards us, which we felt was directed towards the fact we had pets with us. We were disappointed to not be able to purchase some Kentucky bourbon on our roadtrip, but would not give our business to a location who showed such hostility.
  • I've always liked this place. When I visit (always unplanned, usually due to machinery updates around IN, KY, TN), it is always sunny and peaceful. It is worth to tour the facility. While taste and preference is relative, I think that MB Roland makes a fantastic moonshine without adjuncts (although they offer all kinds of flavors.) Taste it for what it was meant to be - smooth, sweet, and strong.
  • Nice atmosphere in the country, plenty of food venders & great live country music. Nice way to spend an early Saturday evening, listening to live music outside & watching the sun set.
  • Truly AMAZING!! TALENTED DISTILLERY!!!! Sweet people and very smart !!
